The marina itself was nice. The communication from the marina was horrible. I attempted to call the marina several times before arriving. I attempted to call the marina several times while we were there. All times, nobody ever answered the phone. When we arrived in the area I attempted to hail them on the radio with little success. I waited for 30 minutes circling before I could get any feedback or instruction on where I was going or what side I need to tie up on. When we came back from lunch we found another boat tied directly to our boat. There was no communication that this was happening but they had to board our boat to do this. We don’t allow shoes to be worn on our boat as all the teak was just done. The dock hands boarded the boat and walked around with shoes on. If we had been notified prior, We could have avoided the shoes on the teak. Overall, the marina is nice but the communication is poor.
