Our family-owned marina and boat dealership on Long Island's North Fork has been inspiring boaters since 1946. We look forward to sharing our love of making memories on the water with you!

POE Marine has a protected basin and fantastic views of Southold Bay.

Our 6-acre waterfront property features a protected basin with fantastic views of Southold Bay and easy access to popular boating destinations. We have single-loaded slips, a seasonal pool with hot-shower cabana, dockside restaurant (save 10%), fuel dock with ValvTect gas & diesel, travel lift, new and used boat sales, award-winning boat service, marine supply store and a friendly, knowledgeable team.

Approach

Our coordinates are 41.04.34 N by 072.24.16 W. As you approach Port of Egypt from Southold Bay, you will see the large, gray storage building on the north side of our property and a protective sandbar / bird sanctuary to the south. Come through the channel and turn to port when the channel markers end. Continue straight ahead to our gas dock area where you can tie up and let us find you a slip.

Great little marina! Perfect pool, clean bathrooms and showers, and 2 great restaurant's. One right on the property and the other next to the marina. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because there wasn’t a dock-hand to be found. Not that I needed them but it would have been nice to see a few especially when entering in a marina for the first time. But other than that, it was well worth it and I will be back!

Thank your for your review. Happy to hear you enjoyed your time at Port of Egypt but sorry to hear you did not get to meet our dockhands. We have 2 on everyday until 5pm. Your arrival day was a busy day at the gas dock since the weather has been so great. Hopefully when you visit again you will get to meet them. Just give a call on your way in and we will be happy to send one down (if dockhands are busy we can always send a yard assistant to help in anyway)

Really great marina super friendly staff. I’m actually happy that the Greenport marinas were sold out this past weekend. The on-site restaurant was very good too. We will definitely be back
