Slaughter Creek Marina is located at 638 Taylors Island Rd. Taylors Island, Maryland. Formerly known as Taylors Island Marina, Slaughter Creek is under new management. It is open seven days a week and offers deep water boat slips, a ship store, boat and bike rentals, a 25 ton travel lift, dry storage, fuel dock, marine pump out station, Palm Beach Willie's Restaurant and Bar, pool and bath house, as well as additional amenities for slip holders. Located on protected Slaughter Creek, just 4 miles from the Chesapeake Bay off the Little Choptank River, Slaughter Creek Marina is convenient for crabbing, fishing and adventuring. With a 7+ foot channel, golfing nearby, facilities for motor homes and extra lodging in the area, Slaughter Creek Marina has everything a boater could ask for.
Very quiet and friendly employees. The restaurant is awesome.
This is a nice small marina on the Little Choptank. Open 7 days, but bar and food are weekends only. They have plenty of slips, but limited in depth as the access channel is nominally 6 feet deep. Dock shop is well equipped and very helpful and friendly. Thanks Missy! They also offer RV camping for land based friends. There is a good restaurant nearby that is open Thursday-Sunday. Shower house was clean and new with private shower and sink, but toilet facilities are shared with the bar. Pool looked nice and had extended hours. Fuel and pump out available, but not sure of the depth at the fuel dock.
Small marina away from everything. Shallow channel. Bar and restaurant are open on weekends and Sundays they have live entertainment. Clean facilities. Not very well protected from N and W winds
This is a nice facility. The restaurant/ bar has friendly service. Booking was simple. Amenities are close together, making it not too difficult to find everything.
We reserved a very affordable, two-night stay through Dockwa for the Labor Day weekend. Quiet, peaceful marina with gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. We enjoyed dipping in the pool, eating great food from Palm Beach Willie's, borrowing the marina's bikes for a few short rides, and good drinks. Great staff who made us feel at home. Blue Dog Alley band was great on Sunday evening. We will be back.
Friendly staff, awesome time. they really rolled out the red carpet for us, all 11 boats! thanks
We stayed here yesterday, found them very helpful from talking us into the creek to helping tie up! The pool was very clean as was the bath house. Dinner at Palm Beach Willie's included one of the best crab cakes we have ever had! The views were peaceful and scenic. We will be back!
We came to love this marina a few years back. Its on our list of places we visit each year by boat or by car. The tranquility of this place beats no other. Hospitality is amazing and the restuarant is to die for. Bring your dinghy and fishing pole. Your camera too, your sure to see a bald eagle or two. Enjoy.
Returned to Slaughter Creek in July 2010. The new on-site restaurant "Palm Beach Willie's" is amazing! Great food, good prices, friendly efficient staff. This is a don't miss stop and worth the drive if you don't boat!
