Not fancy, but that means not pretentious. Best location on the lake. Attached to the park, grear skyline views and most fun waterfront bar in the city
Toronto Island Marina now runs the Island Yacht Club facilities nearby and the dockmaster there is an aggressive tyrant. The 1 star rating is due to his rude manner who made us and our guests feel like intruders instead of valued visitors. He had a pushy attitude and wasn't helpful at all. Once the bad taste of the rude welcoming passed we really enjoyed their installations. For a warmer welcome avoid the IYC and visit the other clubs such as The National, the Queen City and the RCYC.
