The grounds of the yacht club are awesome, sitting on a peninsula with water views in every direction. We went to see the fireworks and it was a perfect location; a good live band, drinks at the tikibar and a cookout menu made for a fun experience. The transient dock is a bit tricky to get into and the tidal current rips past it on peak flow. I would suggest timing your arrival and departure based on the tides.
