Our recent stay at Kent Island Yacht Club went from a stressful emergency to an incredible experience, entirely thanks to the outstanding team on site. We experienced a sudden failure with our Volvo Penta motor and had to be towed in, completely unsure of how we were going to get it resolved and salvage the trip.
From the moment we arrived, Chuck was an absolute lifesaver. He went above and beyond with his kindness, hospitality, and unwavering support. He truly cares about the boaters who visit and turned a highly stressful situation into a manageable one.
To make matters even better, Craig, the on-site mechanic, stepped right up to help us sort out the engine trouble. Having a knowledgeable, hands-on mechanic right there on the docks was a massive relief, and Craig's expertise and willingness to help get us back up and running were top-notch.
It is a beautiful location with great facilities, but it’s the incredible people like Chuck and Craig that make this yacht club truly special. We cannot recommend Kent Island highly enough and will absolutely be returning!
