Report Review

This is a wonderful place for Floridians to cool their heels, between Labor Day and the end of Hurricane Season, before heading home! The location is perfect, if one rents a car; there is an Enterprise Rent-a-Car about two miles up the road, and they can be talked into picking one up at the yacht club. MUCH less hectic and expensive than Annapolis, which is an easy drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. There are a lot of restaurants—local and chain—within easy reach, and groceries are a bicycle ride away. The folks at the yacht club were absolutely wonderful, the facilities are clean, and the food at the yacht club restaurant is reasonably priced and very nicely prepared, with proper grown-up servings. CHECK THE TIDAL CURRENT TABLES BEFORE MAKING YOUR FINAL APPROACH. When the current is slack, docking couldn't be easier; when it is ripping, it couldn't be harder. Seriously, drive around in circles for a couple of hours, if you have to. As another reviewer stresses, Chuck is an angel!
