We stayed at the KIYC twice this past week. Both times were wonderful. Chuck & Jeff were waiting to catch our lines at the dock. We went up for dinner both nights. The food was great, the prices affordable. Madison was a very attentive waitress. During our second visit, I had mentioned walking to Safeway and West Marine to pick up some necessities . Stacy and Jeff were so kind to lend us their car. She said the walk along Main St can be a bit dicey. She was correct. There were no sidewalks and the side of the road was very muddy in spots. On Saturday, we got to watch their “Turkey Shoot”. It went on most of the day. Awards were given out for many categories.
KIYC also had a large washer and drier for free! I didn’t use the bathrooms. But, I’m sure they were in pristine shape like the rest of the club.
I hope we get a chance to stop by again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
