Awesome place! Very friendly staff, beautiful location, updated facility and very clean. It is one of your favorite places to go.

Best amenities I’ve ever seen , the owner is such a nice pleasant guy. The staff are very helpful . Couldn’t ask for more, we nearly bought a boat from them. It’s not over yet .

The Marina and water club is very nice. Beautiful grounds with grass areas and picnic tables and an onsite restaurant. Landscaping is very nice. The office staff are very pleasant and the dock hands are great. The docks are floating and large enough. Will definitely visit again.

Very clean and beautiful marina and great dock help. However, the post labor day rate was over $350 for a single night but the pool was closed, the bar closed and the restaurant closed. In addition, the WiFi was one of the worst I've experienced at a marina: it kept cycling through no connection, weak connection and dropping connections for both smart phones and the boat WiFi (TV). Overall, poor value for the money.

Awesome!!! From pulling in to leaving, everything was great. Kelly and Terry were very helpful making sure we knew (our first time) what to do, where to go and some of the simple rules of the property. Leo and Jackson were great helping us dock we loved the new bathrooms located on property. It’s nice to clean up and get ready for dinner in a beautiful, clean bathroom. Definitely going to book again next season

This was our first time visiting such a beautiful marina. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our bartender Amanda was the best. The band was awesome. Dinner was great. We can’t wait to come back and visit again soon.

If there is a nicer marina, with better facilities or staff out there…. I haven’t found it. Despite a family emergency cutting our trip short, this was by far the nicest place we have been and we will absolutely be back. We were so sad to go.

What a great place! Not only were the grounds lovely, but the staff was phenomenal. Everything was updated and clean. The bathroom and shower facilities were set up with all the amenities you’d find in a five star hotel-save the towels (bring your own). We had bands each night, and the bartender s were talented. My only wish is that the restaurant served breakfast, too. We had a last minute issue with one of the boats we traveled with, and the staff was able to redock us until we worked it out. Everyone was friendly and kind. Just the kind of service one dreams of! Thanks again for a great stay!

We have not been here since Strongs took over. They have done a magnificent job! The property is beautiful, plenty of amenities, the pool is great and the restaurant is excellent. Every staff member was pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

A great time as always. My only personal issue, is the cigarette/cigar smoking. It really bothers me. Not to mention the woman across from us, throwing her butts in the water. Really upsetting. Maybe smoking and non-smoking docks 🤷🏼‍♀️ I love the fact that political flags are not allowed. More privately owned marina's should adopt this.

Very accommodating.

Great Marina! This is our first time staying here and we were very impressed. All docks are new, the marina and facilities are super clean! We enjoyed spending the day by the pool and dinner in the restaurant. The walk to town took about 10 minutes. We will definitely stay here again! ***Update: We stayed here again this year, and love it even more! Strong's doesn't disappoint.

Strong’s is just awesome! Beautiful grounds, fantastic pool, spotless bathrooms/showers. Restaurant has good food and it’s a short walk into the town.

We just returned from a weekend club trip to Strongs Water Club. I can't praise enough the high level of quality and comfort the Strongs crew provides, the friendly and respectful atmosphere, the cleanliness, the pool and restaurant, the great live music, and the overall beauty of the marina. This top-notch facility sets the bar extremely high for other Marinas to match. If you are planning to visit, you won't be disappointed. Terry and her crew are the best. Great time at the water club. The staff are very caring and accommodating The Windamere restaurant was actually much better than we would envisage, but limited option yet good food. Had The lobster roll special which was a great bargain. Definitely worth visiting it watch out the inlet during the low tides! And enjoy. 😊

Strong's was awesome! Our Memorial Day weekend was incredible thanks to Strong's personnel and facility. We would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing marine resort.

They gave me the easiest possible dock to pull into! Which was great for my boat with side mounted electric motor. Entering and leaving the Mattituck inlet was interesting due to all the osprey nests with babies, and other birds in the area. Well protected area and the only protected harbor on Long Island's north shore from Orient to Port Jefferson.

Nice Staff especially Terri and the grounds are kept beautiful.

The docks were very nice, and the staff was there at the dock to help bring my boat in. The facility is very well kept and has good bathrooms and shower facilities. The onsite restaurant, when it is open was very good. There is a nice selection of restaurants and shops just about .5 miles from the marina, very walkable. I had an issue with my sterndrive, and Trevor was an excellent service technician and the service manager Jan was very good at dealing with Volvo and keeping my repairs a priority. This location is great for a stop over when cruising the eastern end of Long Island Sound.

Windamere Rest., although it has nothing to do with the marina, is terrible. Food was late, extremely late, and cooked incorrectly. Marina, the garbage piles are disgusting. Staff needs to focus on clean up.

Great marina and staff. Very helpful in getting your boat into tight slips. The new bathroom and shower renovations are awesome. Quick walk into town for shopping and food. Only ate at their restaurant for lunch, which was good. Definitely worth the stay.

The most beautiful marina that I have ever stayed at in 31 years of cruising. The service staff was welcoming and professional. A premium price was charged for a transient slip. The DOCKWA app said I would have to pay extra for electricity. I did not see on the DOCKWA reservation there would be an extra charge for a Pumpout ($20) or an extra charge for the use of the pool ($25/per person per day)

Strong's is one of the nicest marina's on Long Island Sound. Beautiful dock's, a great swimming pool, decent restaurant, excellent facilities,, and superb staff. We had a wonderful stay!

The dock workers are extremely nice and trained very well. They have the ability to get boats into a very tight space. All the facilities are very clean and fresh. The pool is maintained, and swimmers are watched very carefully by the lifeguards. The restaurant serves good food and drinks.

The staff was great. We came in on one engine and they had extra dock hands to help us in. The service department came down and looked at the engine. Very helpful staff. We had never been there before and the office staff was helpful with directions and recommendations. The on-site restaurant was very good. We could bring out dog and sat outside and enjoyed the live band.

Excellent overall experience. Traveled with a large group of boats form out yacht club. Facility is great. Room for improvement as far as pump out service punctuality.

Great destination. From the time we arrived to the time we shoved off home we had a fabulous experience. The dock crew, office staff, even the pool crew seemed genuinely happy to see us. One night we had a great meal at A Mano in town and the next we ate at Windmere on the property. Another good meal. The grounds were well manicured and very pretty. Last but certainly not least, especially for my wife, the rest rooms and showers were immaculate and appeared to be brand new. I’d recommend Strongs to anyone.

Strong's Water Club has "hit it out of the ball park" with the exemplary renovations to its completely replaced docks, expanded stone restaurant patio dining area and especially the complete renovation of its bathroom/shower areas!! The Ladies Room's locking shower rooms (marble-like tile walls w/sliding glass doors), lighted mirrors with Dyson hairdryers - magnificent amenities!!! Bravo Strong's Marina!!!

Marina was awesome beautiful grounds and the dock staff was great ! The restaurant and bar need some work good was not what you’d expect after seeing the rest of the property and the drinks were the same ! I would definitely go back to the marina but not to the restaurant!

We spent a long weekend at Strongs Mattituck with our family including 2 grandchildren aged 6 & 3. Everyone had a fabulous time enjoying the grounds, the pool, and all of the beautiful renovations that Strongs has made to the property. (We’ve been visiting this marina since the old Mat-a-Mar days.) The staff is among the best I’ve experienced at any marina. From the minute we arrived at the dock (very impressed with the training the staff has received with line handling) to keeping the facilities immaculate, to the pool life guards and front office staff (thank you Courtney & Kelly!), hats off to you all for your super customer service. We’ll be back!

My wife and I stayed at the marina this past weekend with a group of boats from the West Shore Yacht Club. I don’t remember the young lady’s name who provided us with docking assistance (our boat is a 48’ Sea Ray Sundancer named ISABELA), but she was an absolute professional who calmly made us feel comfortable while docking in the wind! During our stay there was another young lady named Madelein (sorry if I misspelled) who assisted with anything & everything we needed and with a smile!!! All in all, Strong’s Water Club is aesthetically one of the most beautiful marinas we have ever visited, but what made it really stand out were the employees - from Courtney who answered our phone call when on final approach to Madelein who wished us a safe journey home on Sunday 👍 Jimmy & Diane

Strong's Mattituck is awesome! The entire staff there is second to none. Tim is the general manger and always available and looking to accommodate. Jan , Terri and Jay were all first class and this is our favorite place to visit. You can't go wrong here. Take any slip that they have available and just go there.

We always enjoy staying at Strong's. Here's what we like: * Friendly, knowledgeable and well trained dock staff * Beautiful Facilities * Best pool of any of the marinas we stay at. Love the pavilion by the pool. * Friendly lifeguards * Excellent bathrooms and shower facilities * Terry Gorga and her staff always make us feel very welcome. * Had a band on Saturday night playing all genres of music * Had a good lunch at the Windamere restaurant. But very pricey. The five of us had either the chicken sandwich or the Inlet Burger and soft drinks. Somehow the bill was $150. I think if the prices were a little more reasonable the restaurant would do much more business. * I passed on buying fuel this visit. $5.00 per gallon for diesel. Paid $3.45 in Connecticut.

We loved our stay at Strong’s! They have friendly, super helpful and welcoming dockhands and staff, and the physical marina facilities are second to none. From the docks, to the pool and beautiful grounds complete with ample comfortable seating, bbqs and lawn games, to the gleaming state of the art air conditioned bathroom/shower facilities (Dyson hairdryers!!!) everything is top notch and maintained at a high level. Restaurant and bar are very good too. Plus Mattituck Inlet is full of natural beauty and is such a peaceful place. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

As always we had a wonder visit! Top notch facility. A special shout out to the dock hands who helped us load our dingy into our garage over the dock!

The service and the ambiance was absolutely fantastic. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff. I had Bella my Maltese with me and the staff were so good to her. I had staff waiting at the dock to grab lines when I arrived, and staff helping me shove off on the way out. The on site restaurant had delicious frozen drinks that really hit the spot when we landed. I highly recommend a stop here.

I had a stay at your marina 7/5 -7/7. The marina itself was beautiful and staff were amazing. I however was extremely disappointed when called to make reservations at your restaurant I was told they were not open because they had no food🤔. I had a special evening/memory planned for that night with my long time GF which unfortunately I could not do. I wish this was told to me earlier as I feel I wasn’t truly able to experience the resort fully. To be honest I was kind of disappointed especially when I had something planned

Had a great three-night stay over the Fourth. Last time we were here five years ago we had a wonderful stay, it's hard to imagine but the place only got better. The new bathroom/ shower facilities were beautiful. The grounds were even more manicured. Kelly was amazing, her attention to detail and customer service was over the top. The only thing the place lacks is a laundry room.

By far my favorite marina, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the bar/restaurant is perfect.

Wonderful marina,. only complaint was that dock p[erspon that helped us back into teh slip anmd tie up with not experienceds at all, he was a young teenage man with dark hair. He was noce enouigh but needs schooling in what to lkeep an eye on., my bow lamost drifted in to teh b poat nest to me and he was teh p[ersonsecuring teh bow to teh dock. No damage dome and we will happily go back tthere again and again!

If you haven't been here, make it your first trip of the season next year!! Everything about this place is amazing. The staff is really friendly and helpful, there is a great restaurant on site that often has live music, fantastic pool, huge lawn area, grills, firepits and nicely renovated bathrooms. You can walk to love lane where they have a few shops and restaurants or jump in a cab and head to Greenport. You will not be disappointed!

Nice docks, great staff and the best bathrooms/showers of all marinas. Large pool (unheated) and ok restaurant. Large lawn area with chairs and games. Easy walk to nice little town and close to many vineyards. Very much recommend!

Neat and Clean. Bathrooms couldn't be nicer. Short walk to some great spots in town. The female dock master is on point and does a great job of getting you in and making sure you have everything you need.

While the grounds and the bathrooms were amazing. No gas grills was a big issue, who brings charcoal on a boat? Couldn’t grill any of my food that I brought. Also, no cable tv? Cost me almost $500 for two nights in a 35 footer, and no gas grills or cable….don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon….

I've been visiting Mattituck from time to time since the 70s and Strong's has set the bar very high. Everything has been brought up to a standard well beyond that of most marinas in the NE. The natural beauty of the inlet is unmatched on LI. Strong's Water Club is a perfect spot to relax and the facility and staff are excellent.

Always a great time. Always the nicest staff. Always a great property, only now the bathrooms are brand new and gorgeous. They say it’s a boating resort, and it really is.

One of the prettiest, best maintained marinas we’ve visited on the Sound. Great pool too. The on-site restaurant is closed on Mondays/Tuesdays but decent restaurants are within easy walking distance - some are also closed Mondays/Tuesdays, so use the great picnic areas to barbecue and/or to enjoy your prepared meals.

This is the best marina we have ever stayed at. Been here multiple times. The waterfront and grounds are kept very clean. The pool is large and has showers next to it. Restaurant on premise is excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Very capable service center. Town is a long walk. Only suggestion is maybe run a shuttle to town as I have seen other marinas do. Hard to get a taxi.

Really enjoy this spot. The docks are in great shape, the property is beautiful, and the pool was the perfect temperature. The food at the restaurant is a little eclectic for my tastes, but others seem to enjoy it. The live music was great. Will definitely be back,

Terry and staff made our Huntington Yacht Club 28 boat rendezvous spectactular!! We were all given the best accomodations available. They had live music that really added to the fun. The food offeringsat the windamere restuarant were terrific and I highly reccomend them. We will definately be back!

Great marina.. Amazing grounds

While the dock staff was helpful, they have a lot to learn about sailboats, space required and maneuvering. Two sailboats, 45 and 46’ they put us in slips that only short of a miracle and light winds we did not hit other boats, we belonged on the opposite side where they put shorter (3) boats that were all 40 and under. When it came time to leave, dock staff had to be told to get on other boats so they could fend off, our friends needed customer help as well. Will not go back.

Once again nothing but a PERFECT long weekend at Strongs. Great Marina, great grounds, and great staff. This is our second year and spent 3 nights. The pool is great and the amenities are fantastic! A definite “must go” as I tell all of our boating friends to visit! Very “resort like” and well worth it!!

We have had the privilege of being a guest at the Strong water Club and Marina several times over the last three years. Every time we were treated as well as members and were made to feel welcome. I always look forward to our trip across the sound from CT for a day trip to Mattituck.

Strong’s Water Club & Marina never disappoints. They take care of everyone like family. That’s why it’s our favorite place to stay. The improvements and updating at Strong’s are just beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!

I have terribly mixed feelings about our two recent stays at Strongs. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously cared for, the restaurant was great with good food and service. However the dockhands were a very mixed story. Hails on VHF CH9 were not answered or answered very late after we were right outside the marina. Last minute slip assignments meant no ability to set up lines and bumpers ahead of time. I requested fuel and watched a dockhand visibly sigh and was told I'll have to wait as two boats are coming in in the next few minutes (No boats arrived for at least half an hour). I requested a pump out and was told on the 1st visit "sorry it's too windy", on the second visit I was told I'm on the schedule, and to wait on the boat, which I did for two hours and was then told the pump-out boat was broken, then told it was repaired, and then ignored until I finally chased down the dockhands who asked can't I wait till tomorrow, (I was leaving at 6:30am, so no...). so finally at 4:45 with obvious disdain they came to pump out the boat. Over the two visits I met 5 separate dockhands. 4 of them did not understand how to handle the lines on the boat, and didn't seem to have any desire to actually work. On the second visit an attempt was made to place a large sport fishing boat next to us when our combined beams were about one foot less than the space between the dock fingers. After seeing it was impossible to even get a bumper between the boats, and dismay from both parties, did they reassign the sport fisher's slip. Only one dockhand, a young lady who was on hand on our second visit was absolutely excellent. She seemed to be doing the work for everyone else. She ended up fueling our boat when the others never seemed to show up, she checked in multiple times with us, and was a pleasure to work with. I really recommend Strong's take some action to get more high quality dockhands like that young lady on board, and better organize marina operations.

Such a beautiful marina and perfect location! We took our bikes and went winery hopping because they are so close to the wine trail! Such a fun weekend and we appreciated their helpful staff. Can’t wait to go again!

Great Marina, clean bathrooms and a wonderful Restaurant. Had live music when we were there . The grounds are spotless and beautifully landscaped. Our second visit this year.

Fantastic marina....very relaxing and enjoyable!

Great location and well kept grounds. Friendly and helpful staff! Dinner at aMano 1/2 mile away.. Unfortunately, the pool has closed for the season, but otherwise it was a great stop on our cruise.

We really enjoy are stays at Strong's. The dock hands are very attentive and helpful when docking. Terry and her staff do a great job. Pool and bar are great , short walk to town to restaurants and shops. Definitely would give 5 stars but bathrooms need to be updated and weren't that clean. It's a bit expensive but overall I would definitely recommend.

The marina was very clean. The dockhands were helpful. The office staff was friendly and also very helpful. The pool and bar were great. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment on that. The grounds were wonderful. Great place to spend a night or two on your boat.

Overall it was a great stay. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and great food at the Windamere restaurant. We would only recommend gas grills for transients and closer, more updated bathrooms for the price guests pay.

Our first stay at Strongs and it didn’t disappoint. Great deck hands made it easy to get into slip. The restaurant was amazing and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Bathrooms/shower were clean. Our only miss was that we didn’t get in until 5:15 and pool was already closed. Would be great if it stayed open till 7 every night. We hadn’t realized and had very sad kids. But the lawn games kept them busy and they all had a great evening. We’ll be back.

Strongs Waterclub is one of our favorite destinations. The sprawling lawn is gorgeous. We love making s’mores for the kids on the fire pits. The pool is fantastic and always clean. We definitely enjoy the restaurant which was very accommodating when we arrived late due to boat troubles. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the bathrooms are in much need of an overhaul. They aren’t maintained properly and just rundown. Otherwise a fantastic facility.

Wonderful Property, Very Clean and a GREAT STAFF!!! How could not have a great time Restaurant was just OK. Only one menu for lunch and dinner and very limited. Lobster roll was $45.00 ?? . I do not remember seeing and clams, muscles or shrimp cocktail. Definitely needs to be upgraded based on the clientele

When you first enter the Mattituck inlet you may be concerned but there's plenty of water. As you cruise to Strong's water club you'll see plenty of large vessels 40 plus. When you arrive you will be impressed with a great facility and staff. This is a true retreat and place to be pampered. The best of the best. We will return again and again with our Sea Ray 420. Wonderful setting, close to restaurants, wineries, shopping. Dock hands and service were great. Pool and on- site restaurant very nice.

Always a wonderful stay. They were so helpful with getting us in this weekend. They were full and moved things around to get us in. So relaxing. Boaters paridise.

A wonderful marina, hidden away on the North Shore. Sailboats need to watch the depth, but we got there with no problem (6 foot keel). Very experienced dockhands, clean showers, and beautiful grounds, with a lovely restaurant. Do book outside transportation ahead of time- we could not find an Uber or car rental for a trip to the nearby winery. We will come back!!

Strong's has everything you could ask for in a marina. Protected harbor, pool, restaurant, quaint town and friendly helpful staff.

We had an okay 2-night stay. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Plenty of nice outdoor lounging spots and lawn games. Nice large pool and deck. Pool is not heated. Staff seemed pleasant & attentive, not that we really had the occasion to ask anything of them. It would have been helpful to have a heads up in advance that all the dock staff is gone by 5pm. They called me via cellphone around 4:15 to give me a slip a assignment, and when I pulled in at 5:15 there was no help around to dock. The docks are not clearly labeled from the water, and having a 5' draft makes this marina not fun to explore at low tide. The midship cleat on the dock was broken and unusable. The bathrooms/showers are located behind the restaurant and seem more popular with the restaurant staff than marina guests. They are sorely in need of update. The showers were cheap plastic stalls and had abundant paint peeling off the ceiling, and an empty beer can in one. The restaurant served mediocre B- food/drink, for which they ambitiously charge A+ prices, but I guess there is a price to pay for convenience. There are a few decent walkable restaurants in town which we enjoyed. Trying to get an Uber/Lyft for a ride to some further options was very challenging as both reported no cars available for most of the time on Fri evening. They nickel & dime you $20 for pumpout, which became moot for us as it was broken during our stay. Overall a decent place, but not quite on par with other marinas at this price point. Seriously guys, clean up those bathrooms. Cheers!

Beautiful property and keeps getting better every time we visit. Owners continue to improve the dockage and the restaurant is 5 star. Friendly and helpful staff makes it a must visit.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Strong's Water Club. The staff is very helpful and ready to assist in every way. The one thing that needs immediate attention is the restaurant facility. It was a beautiful busy weekend and we were unable to book a reservation in the restaurant. There were lovely picnic tables and it was suggested we get food to go and eat outside the restaurant area. We were happy to do that. However, our $35 to $40 meals being served in a paper box with plastic utensils just does not cut it. The food was good. I suggested they allow us to take a plate the few steps to the picnic table with napkin and real silverware. We were refused. Management does not allow it. We would have been happy to return it all to the bar. We had this same experienced 2 nights in a row. Although the bartender was kind enough (we really liked him) to sneak us some real silverware and napkins. Still paper boxes however. That was very disappointing. Other than that, I would have given you 5 stars. Hope you change your policy.

Loved our short stay . As usual the staff was great . the grounds impeccable , only issue was the shower head was terrible .

Love this marina, it was our first sailing trip from CT so it is special to us. The staff is always nice and the grounds are great with lots of grass space, Adirondack chairs, fire pits ,and pool. There is a good bar and restaurant, and we enjoy walking to Love lane and Shinn vineyard.

Strong's has grown since I was there about 4 years ago. Nice place. Very clean and neat. Spotless restrooms. Very accommodating and friendly staff.

Great location. There is also an excellent restaurant /bar there as well. Few years ago- i hit something in the water and had to get hauled out. I was able to do the work myself but the marina offered free verbal assistance. The whole thing was a normal boating experience and i wouldnt hesitate to go back. In fact, I go there EVERY year. Its dog friendly and an EXTREMELY well protected harbor. Lots of great wineries a bike ride/uber away. See you in about 2 months!! William McCarthy S/C Wagstaff

5 star marina with very helpful/friendly staff. My family has been coming here for years and have nothing but great things to say about the Water Club. The pool is always clean with a lifeguard on duty and at night catching the sunset with a cocktail is an event that can't be missed.

Our 17 year old boat had a lot of problems. Strong's hung in there until every single one was resolved and provided wonderful customer service. Don't know where the negative reviews are coming from, as we are very happy with our results, at a fair price.. so nice. And their facilitates is more like a private Club than a public marina. restaurant, grounds etc etc
