We were entering NY Harbor when we suffered a complete engine shutdown (both engines) and a majority of our electronics went dark also! We ended up being towed into Liberty Landing after calling around for availability and ease of docking while being towed. They were able to accomodate us and had an electrician on-board the next morning (since we came in on a Sunday) to start figuring things out. While a little pricey of a place to stay, the facilities are excellent and it is a place we would consider staying at again. We did not do much in the area since the unplanned stop was impinging on a previously made reservation further up-river.
