Open to transient boaters. Store is open for delivery service 7:30AM - 4:00PM. Office and service center closed until further notice. The fuel dock is open and has 2 dock staff on site, along with 24 hour security.
Liberty Landing Marina is a 520 slip marina located on the Hudson River across from the lower tip of Manhattan. We offer transient dockage, 24-hour fueling facility, full-service maintenance, marine store, and much more!
The Marina is strategically located in Liberty State Park along the Morris Canal and is the only marina in the area that provides a “calm basin” for boat dockage in the Hudson River. Our guests enjoy the luxury of a full-service marina with a well respected service team. Our large dock staff will cater to your every need, including a well-stocked marine store.
We have two on-site restaurants, a ferry to NYC, Statue of Liberty tours, and we are just a few minutes away from the Liberty Science Center. The first-class, well-renowned restaurants have panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, fine dining, indoor and outdoor seating, a private lounge, and more. Whether you’re coming for a day, a week, or just to dock and dine, Liberty Landing Marina is the place to be. Being located in historic Liberty State Park, there are endless things to do!
First time there and I would highly recommend it to all my boating friends. We will definitely be returning again!!!
Friendly very competent staff. Clean establishment with great views of NYC
Great service by EVERYONE, especially Ivan in the Marine Store. Perfect location. My only suggestion is to improve the WiFi.
excellent marina with incredible views and access to nyc
Great as usual. Great views and a great Marina
I’ve overnighted at LLM on my passages to ACK from Annapolis over four years. Every time we love this marina. After a long day on the water, we love walking along the waterfront in Liberty Park. Two restaurants at the Park are terrific. The marina store is very well supplied. The docks are clean and well maintained. The marina staff is very professional.
Great location although a bit pricey. Good amenities (boat store, showers, fuel and Pumpout) although restaurant is not open all days due to COVID.
Great venue, great staff. Power is an issue. Needed to run the generator due to tripping the breakers. Wonderful views.
Great location, very helpful marina staff and dockmaster was wonderful. Only reason for not 5 stars is the power is terrible. Everytime we and friends have stayed always issues with breakers tripping as soon as you try to run AC and hot water. We wound up using our generator much of the time.
We always enjoy liberty landing. Only disappointment was that liberty House restaurant was not open:(
Fantastic place. Absolutely stunning view over Manhattan. Super calm water. Very well sorted store. Highly recommended as a destination for a cruise in NE. Hint. Time it and go through Harlem river to get there. The most tranquil place on Manhattan.
when we arrived we were told that that bathrooms/showers were closed and when when pressed that we took a slip with the expectation to access to bathrooms and showers we were told to go to the "west" building that at least a 1/4 of a mile walk each way. Also, we found no places to put our trash and you were limited to to the hours of the dockmaster 's hours to purchase ice. We were also not clearly told where our slip space was and if wanted anything from a store in Jersey City, it was at least a half an hour walk, not worth the expense. Also, security is a joke, the door to our dock was tied open with a rope. It like is doesn't have a manger that gives a craps of how the business is being run, blaming everything on Covad. It not Covad, it's bad management.
Everyone was very helpful and really nice. The facilities were clean and well maintained.
The nicest and most helpful marina staff!!
No food due to covid. Fuel expensive at $3/gallon diesel. Very long walk to bathroom/showers (no lie -1/2 mile). And price is high at 6.25/ft Inc power. On the positive side the dock master George was awesome.
No bathrooms and no internet. Emailed yard if we could get winter rate but no response.. A lot of money to stay 12 hours.
Really friendly helpful staff, great view of the city with easy water shuttle across the river.
Location is fantastic. Members lounge is top notch. Dock Staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful.
Great location, full service and George and the staff are top notch. Thanks 🙏
Very protected and convenient to explore lower Manhattan.
Great service, great Marina, great view, easy ferry to the city..... Could not have been I better stay!
Andrew, Olivia and all dock folks super Olivia best boat first mate/ event coordinator/fun lady takes care of all on board
Staff and facility are top notch... couldn’t ask for better service or facilities
Everything was perfect! Great service. Beautiful shower area. Friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous location
Needed to stay an extra day due to weather conditions and the were able to accommodate. Great place.
Prompt reply to slip request. Great service at the dock. Clean restroom and shower.
Very nice marina! Amenities were clean and the food was good
Well staffed, friendly, efficient marina. Wonderful location &views with onsite ferry to Manhattan & across Morris Canal to Jersey City. Iffy WiFi. BOTH on-site restaurants closed on Monday! Nice heads & Captains Lounge.
Very clean and well run marina
Always a great destination. Dockmaster George is so helpful. Dockhands very professional. Best views of NYC.
Always great dock hands, called ahead to come in early and even though they were booked up they found a place for us
I have had my boat here for 2 and 1/2 years. I am fully satisfied with all aspects of service. Dockmaster Andy and Kwami and Ali are right on it. Ivan and his staff are great. And thank god I haven't needed Marine service but its nice to know they are there. They did a greast tune up when I bought the yacht. All good here on the SUNSHINE DAYDREAM!!
Always good there but for money you spend they need to upgrade laundry area
On our trip from Long Island my wife was experiencing abdominal pain (that she described as 1000 time worse than child birth). Upon arrival I went to the office were you register to get help calling an ambulance. From the moment I told them what was happening George took control. After calling 911 he returned with me to the boat waiting to insure the ambulance got to us ASAP. Subsequently, my wife had emergency surgery 4 hours later which saved her life. The Marina arranged for us to keep the boat there until my wife was able to travel home. I can't thank them enough, especially George. Liberty Landing is a family marina that truly cares and delivers a great experience,
The dock master ( George) and crew , were courteous, professional and friendly. Docking directions were clear and easy to understand. The Marina is a first class operation. The views of lower Manhattan were amazing. Easy access to the Statue of Liberty ,Ellis Island and the 9/11 memorial. When we come back to this area,, we will stop here.
Great place, great staff.
Great place to stay!
Great location, but major problems with the management. 1. If you care about your boat, do not let their service department touch it. They will charge you tens of thousands of dollars for doing work that doesn’t need to be done to fix problems they never fix. They never hold to their estimates and you’ll have no idea what they’re going to charge until it shows up in your credit card statement. They also have no idea how to clean up after themselves when they do work on your boat. 2. They’ve raised their rates significantly every year and have made zero investments in the property. The gates are constantly broken. The security cameras don’t work and their bubbler system fails regularly leaving ice to damage your boat while they wait weeks for parts and do nothing to find an interim solution. 3. This is a facility owned by an investment company that puts dollars over boaters, complete anathema to the boating community.
Everything was great except the WiFi could not be connected to the boat.
Beautiful marina with excellent amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Always enjoy staying there.
Very nice facilities, convenient to everything. It would be nice if a more casual restaurant were on the premises.
Really enjoyed the hospitality and the convience to NYC and Ferry. Restuants at the marina are great as well. Planning on going back in the fall!
Stay was great as usual. Would have given you five but fuel prices are up.
Great place! Great location...just a little pricey...staff was awesome and helpful.
Our stay was great. Perfect accommodations. Beautiful protected marina. Great ships store and restaurants. 5 minute ferry ride to World Trade Center.
My club (Masthead Cove Yacht Club out of Huntington, NY) had 22 sail boats stay here from June 21 - 23. The dock master participated in a Captain's meeting before we arrived - definitely above and beyond. Our arrival and stay coincided with the SailGP races and the marina was a very active place. Despite this and high gusty winds when we arrived, the Marina crew (Irene specifically - the voice on the radio who directing us to our slips) did a fantastic job in making sure we all get in safely. Thank you for making our stay a wonderful experience!
Great facility with friendly, competent staff. Also has a nice bar & restaurant on the Hudson with great views of south end of Manhattan.
Nice area of NYC! Nice welcome from helpful dock crew!
From the first conversation on the VHF Ch 72, to fueling, to docking, to the ship store, to the restaurant to leaving the dock after a 3 day stay "It's all first class"
Excellent staff beautiful view convenient location
We stay here often. They are friendly, helpful, and always on point. Great location for exploring Manhattan or the Jersey City waterfront. Great facilities.
Excellent. Everything is done extremely well, and the facilities are top drawer. The only issue is that the price reflects the NYC skyline, but at least it is consistent with the location.
Staff was very helpful. Facilities were very good.
Very nice facility with good, solid floating docks, very helpful dock staff. In addition to clean, modern bathrooms and showers, there's a fabulous lounge with good, strong WiFi, and comfortable chairs and desks. This place ain't cheap, but it's essentially New York City (not actually) so that's to be expected. But it is well protected and a good, safe place to visit with frequent shuttle ferries across to Manhattan.
Very helpful staff, great amenities and the facilities are in great shape. The view of Battery Park/skyline at night is beautiful. We will definitely return!
Very friendly helpful staff. Washrooms very clean and spacious. Nice lounge and 2 TVs
Beautiful marina, fine dining, knowledgeable staff, well protected marina with easy access to the city via there ferry. Looking forward to our next visit
Adequate. Need better dock assignment plan for larger boats.
Very nice facility and friendly staff. Thank you
This was a great location to see the city, the Statue of liberty and Ellis Island. Easy transportation. Very helpful dock hands, great personalities. A very CLEAN Facility. Looking forward to going back. Thanks for a great time!!!!!!
Beautiful views of NYC ~ staff very nice & helpful ~ clean facilities
Beautiful, well maintained and clean facility in calm wake restricted inlet. Nice floating docks, 24hr fuel, 2 exceptionally good restaurants (pricey but worth it). Enjoyed our stay there very much
We had a wonderful time staying at this marina. It was quiet, safe, and the employees were very friendly and willing to help. The bathroom/shower facilities are impeccable and we felt like we were at a spa! We also enjoyed Romeo, the adorable dog, that came to visit us every morning. The ferry is convenient and Surf City is walking distance. We will be back!
Our first time at Liberty Landing and we can't wait to go back. All was top notch, from the staff at check- in to the great restaurants.
Great service and facilities.
Great service from the LLM team both on and off the water. Will continue to return. Also, great coffee in the AM.
It was so perfect, staff, cleanliness, professionalism, service..... I al.pst want to keep it as my little secret. Us the et sky tour of Manhattan is a must!!!!. It really is a diamond in the rough. Irene, Andrew and Ali plus all the staff are First class, warm and well organized. The park attached is a bonus and the ferry to Manhattan is every 30 minutes. Drinks in Jersey city is amazing and a very takes you across canal very 15 minutes. Boats from jet ski size to yachts behind imagination.
The marina is very nice with clean amenities. Despite being a huge place, the personnel were very attentive and professional. Very nice place with awesome view of New York
Great facility, clean bathroom and showers. Ferry and restaurant's right in marina.
All dockhands and dockmaster were extremely helpful and polite. The views were amazing. I would highly recommend Liberty Landing
Huge marina with impeccable views of the NYC skyline, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Fuel, pump out, restaurants, huge marina store and reasonably priced.
The marina staff are all great, And with the new transformer the power is excellent!!
Staff, Liberty House, and Maritime Parc all great
LLM was quick to meet us on The does and catch a line for us. Stayed for two nights and found the docks sturdy, well protected from wind and the Hudson River current. A great marina when in NYC Harbor.
I'm usually very impressed with Liberty Landing. Cleanliness and service are phenomenal. In this case, however, I booked two weeks in advance and when I checked in, they had double-booked my space and didn't have a spot for me. I had to wait about 40 minutes for them to eventually put me on the end of a crowded T-dock. I feel like I paid for a slip, but didn't receive one, for my 11 day stay. I'm really disappointed with the disorganization of their check-in process in this case.
Great marina with very helpful staff. The restaurants on site and the facilities are great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Love it here! Best place to be near Manhattan.. Only wish that the ferries ran later into the night at least up till midnight !
If you have stayed anywhere else on the Hudson, then you know how uncomfortable it can be with the waves and wakes. At Liberty, it was flat calm in the marina. The facilities are beautiful. Great ships store as well. Had a fireworks display from the park next door and a view of the Statue of Liberty. A water taxi leaves every hour from the marina and takes you right to NYC near the 911 Memorial. $7 a person!!! Marina personnel were very helpful with fueling and docking etc. Great place!!
A great facility with wonderful views and easy access.
Everything about this marina was awesome! No issue getting situated in our slip. The view of the Freedom Tower is truly spectacular! Nicely sheltered from the Hudson river traffic. We didn't take advantage of the ferries to NYC, which were right there. Maybe next time.
Excellent staff. Great location: take the ferry, right there, 10 minutes to Manhattan. Quiet waters -- essentially no wakes. Great restaurant a few steps away.
We had a great time. The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The bathrooms were clean. The grounds are well maintained. The ferrys into manhattan ran every 30 minutes making access to the city easy. The wi-fi is not the greatest but we had a great time and we will definitely be back.
Andy and the crew always make for a great stay!
The ferry drivers do not have enforced No-Wake zones making it a steadily rolling marina.
Shore power dropped below 200V which shutdown the air con. had to start up the generator on board. Talked to Marina for refund ($0.60/ft x 67 ft = $40.20) but they said that since the booking was done through Dockwa at an all-inclusive rate they were unable to provide refund. Can we get the refund through Dockwa? Please get back to me either way at [email protected]
Great place to visit. Great people. Easy access to NYC , Jersey city. Great restaurants.
Everything was great at this marina. Dock hands, people at the fuel dock and the marine store were all great. thank you
Nice marina, nice people. Very convenient to city. Need to fix power ( only 200 volts) problem.
Excellent. Marina was clean, staff helpful, great location. WiFi was unusable
Everyone was so nice and helpful. The new ship store manager Ivan is incredible. So helpful and made it a point to make us feel welcome!
This was our first time going here and when I hailed them on Ch. 72 they gave perfect directions though it took a couple of calls due to people stepping on our conversation. Frank was standing by to guide us in asking if I'd prefer bow in or stern in. He efficiently tied us up and I did not have to step off the boat to connect anything. The staff was courteous and friendly. When ever staff went by they said good morning, afternoon or evening. Was concerned about access to D dock, which is the transient dock but was reassured by the General Manager that our boat was quite safe and explained all the security that was in place. We particularly liked that the boats to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty were conveniently located within a short walk from the marina. There is also a ferry that runs from there to within a few blocks walk of the World Trade Center for a reasonable price. There are two restaurants there as well. We visited Liberty Park and sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks and some sushi. The sushi was fantastic and the bartenders were awesome. We didn't get to use all the amenities the marina had to offer but we will on our next visit.
No actually I did not stay there on that date. I may have made some error in booking it, I wanted the following weekend. But I tried to contact the marina through your system before I realized my mistake and after and they have failed to reply. As I assess it, a great system for taking my money not so much for customer service. If I could rate it minus five stars I would.
From my sign up online in January to my confirmation call to Dockmaster Andrew on June 30th, my reservation and stay at Liberty Landing Marina was just wonderful. As we approached the marina my call in to channel 72 was received with enthusiasm and perfect instruction to our slip where a dock mate greeted us and helped us to tie up and get set. During our stay Dockmaster Andrew even came by and chatted with us, making us feel a part of the party called Liberty Landing Marina!
One of the best locations ever. Dock hands were professional and the restaurant was AWESOME.
They confirmed the reservation and then 2 hrs later said they made a mistake. Turns out the second mess was sent to me in error but it caused panic since it was the day we were to arrive. They messed up on Instructions into the Marina and had to turn us around. No problem but odd. Most importance tly, not enough electrical to run the A/C. Our friends had the same problem.
Easy to get to and dock, pleasant employees, GREAT VIEWS, good restaurants, what more could one ask for!!! Captain Brendan Kelly
Great staff, competent and helpful dock hands and all in all an incredible facility.
The facilities are fine and the staff in the store are friendly, but the dock hand who helped us get in to a very tight space behind a ferry was not particularly skilled and gave us pretty much no information - where to check in, garbage, etc. It seems a bit exorbitant even for NYC to charge $4.50/foot plus another $0.40 per foot for electricity. No wi-fi either.
Great facilities, very clean, good food, and extremely helpful people. Thank you Liberty Landing, we will be back
Excellent service! Dock was clean and well organized. Ship's store is well stocked. Lounge, bathroom, showers, everything is clean and professional about this place.
