I’m not usually one to write a bad review, but this place has really gone downhill. I’ve been coming here for many years, and the past few weeks have been the worst experiences I’ve ever had there.
First, I couldn’t find anyone available to help. There used to be helpers all over the boat ramp, ready and waiting to assist. Now, you pay $20 just to launch, and my family, who arrived in a separate vehicle, had to pay another $10 just to park. That feels absolutely ridiculous.
A few weeks ago, I went to launch and saw four people standing around the harbormaster’s truck doing nothing. Not one of them offered to help. I stopped by this weekend to speak with the harbormaster and was told he was off for the weekend. Memorial Day weekend and the Harbormaster took it off. Seriously?
After years of coming here, this was extremely disappointing. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere. If I could give zero stars I would!
