Very friendly team, great location. Look forward to coming back.
Great spot. Quiet. Nice people. The only issues for larger boats is clearing the drawbridge and everyone needs to be aware of the rowing club in the river.
Pros: it is a very convenient location. The parking and bathrooms/ shower were convenient and clean. The dock was well secured. Water sources and lighting was good. Cons: there is a lot of bird poop that is rarely cleaned up. In the spring / early summer the bugs (noseeums) were bad. They bite/ sting in great numbers. You have to get in your boat and take off right away. This section of the river causes barnacles and plants to grow and stick to your hull even with anti-fouling paint.
Easy as always. great seaon
I stayed for the month of May, rained about half the time. One bathroom with shower, no laundry or other amenities. High School rowing team makes the D-dock very busy.
marina is a good way up the river so is very well protected. this was the calmest place we've stayed yet. it is a bit off the beaten track, and is very quiet. Dennis was extremely helpful making sure we had the gates codes, knew the bridge clearances, power requirements, etc (50A 120/240V adapter). the first bridge is a drawbridge and is was pretty fun calling in and having them raise it. the operators were very friendly.
