Enjoyed a great "late season" day at Saybrook Point.
This is basically a full service resort by the sea with unique spa/pool facilities, excellent on site food, and very scenic walking/biking/golfing right nearby. The thorough welcome pack is necessary because this is so much more than a dock to tie up to!
Staff were excellent - friendly and accommodative.
The town itself (Marina has a free shuttle bus) is maybe more like 3 or 4 stars, if you don't have specific needs just enjoy Saybrook Point!
Note there is some wave action in the harbor when winds are from the South/Southeast as the marina is right where the river meets the sound...but we were there on a windy day and it wasn't a big deal, just reminded us we were on our boat ;)
