Awesome place! Best service we’ve had yet! Kate took our lines and patiently let us fuel up, gave us info on the resort (definitely try steam room) and local area, even moved a ladder to make boarding easier. Place is in great shape and has full resort amenities. Right off the sound so good access.

The perfect overnight stay at the end of a 2-week cruise. Kate, the marina manager, greeted us warmly and handled the lines. She suggested we check out the musician in the hotel bar. After a swim and hot tub excursion, we took in an amazing performance and had an excellent dinner (try the lobster roll!)

Very popular place and we were lucky to get a place to tie up, with showers, food, and a good IPA.

It was a great stay. Staff is wonderful but I am giving it 4 stars because when we arrived, there was a small Boston Whaler in our assigned slip. Since we were already in the process of docking before we could see it, the dock assistant had to try to haphazardly move the small boat and couldn’t help us get into the spot. Other than that, it is a beautiful marina with great bars and restaurants. Will definitely return.

Kyle and Whitney are excellent dock hands and our stay was very enjoyable. Wifi is weak and needs work but otherwise nice stay.

Our fourth and best visit! Very accommodating to put us on a T-dock. Great service by all, especially Katie the dock manager. A delicious, if expensive, meals in the restaurant. We’ll be back!

Beautiful Marina and grounds. Too bad there is way too much boat traffic on the CT River sending wakes into the marina. The entire marina constantly rocking all day, everyday. I have a 75’ motor Yacht and it takes a lot to rock consistently. We were rocking so much with no relief for 3 days all my all guests got sick. No wind and beautiful weather for the whole time we were there. They definitely need to move the no wake zone buoy further away from the inlet of the marina. When they do I will return.

This was our second time staying and for sure, we will be back. A great place and great people. It rained during our stay and we loved the having the facilities and the fun time in Old Saybrook town.

Everything you need for a long weekend is at this marina. Restaurants, spa, pool, relaxing environment. Kate and her dock staff are by far the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. Very attentive and focused on assisting and welcoming transient boaters!

The staff at the marina and wait staff, bartenders, etc., were all very accommodating and friendly! The marina and grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. Loved the amenities like the sauna, indoor pool and hot tub.

We have been visiting the Saybrook Point Marina every year for 17 years, and the service and support by the staff has always been consistently the best we experience, regardless of where else we travel. Kate Mosley, the Marina manager, has been singularly focused on providing visiting boaters with superb care. That same level of care is provided by the Inn and its Fresh Salt restaurant and Water Bar. And of course, the pet friendly environment is welcomed by our four-footed family members. The Marina and the resort have my highest recommendation!

We were greeted by the very professional dock staff on arrival. The resort is beautiful and Marina guests are able to use all the hotel amenities. Will definitely be back!!

Great place to overnight. The pool, restaurant and showers were very nice. The service was top notch, they even give you a free ride into town. We went to Stop & Shop and stocked up. Next time we will stay 2 nights.

Marina with great amenities conveniently located at the mouth of the Connecticut River. All amenities of hotel are available for marina guests, including a shuttle to restaurants, shops and nearby points of interest.

The Dockmaster was amazing, her and her crew were extremely helpful and informative. Best I have seen!!! The Marina and restaurant were all top notch. Will definitely be back!!!

This is one of my favorite marinas. A beautiful resort, with the dining area overlooking the marina. Great dark staff, great restaurant staff,. Wonderful food! What’s not to like?

Great people and a great marina.

The Dockmaster, Kate, and her team provided exceptional service. Kudos to Leland, Cody and Witt who were very helpful in assisting with the docking of our boat. The only negative is Saybrook Point Marina is exposed to the Ct. River and it can be bouncy.

This was our second stay of the season. You can see my other reviews. This is one special place. Two things to keep in mind. The gates from the main resort to the docks is card keyed. Ours lost its magnetic stripe 4 times. We kept them RIF envelopes but the still lost it. The resort front desk looks you up and are happy to replace it. If you go to the pool remember to have either cash or a card. They will not allow you to charge to your marina reservation. Unfortunately several boaters at the pool were not aware and assumed you could and had to go back to their boat to get a form of payment. That is true fir the restaurants and bars too. You will not need to worry about wifi. Signal on the dock is very strong. Ran our tv’s just fine. Do yourself a favor. Come and enjoy this destination.

Saybrook Point is a great overnight for us on a longer trip. The marina staff are very friendly. The restaurant and bar are very good. The spa is nice when you’ve been on a boat for a while. The marina is well protected, except for a Nor’Easter I’m told. Be aware of fog in the area during the summer. We will return.

1. We requested a port side tie up, not granted 2. Service at pool area and outside area above pool had the worst service 3. Food was excellent 4. Staff was excellent, when seen 5. Hotel staff when entering for restaurants was welcoming and very helpful 6. Vincent is a BIG ASSET to your establishment 7. BBQ's need to be made sure that they are in working order not just 1/2 of it I would definitely revisit your marina, but if you cannot accommodate my needs, then let me know from the beginning and do not accept my request. 8. Some of my friends were put on non floating docks and we asked to be together and they were on H and we were A 5.

View from our slips behind the fuel dock was beautiful until they moored a large yacht in our way. Kate and her dock staff couldn't have been more helpful or professional. Very nice marina, great staff

It is a beautiful marina with wonderful facilities. Unfortunately my experience was not all that good. My boat, 44ft Beneteau Swift trawler, requires a starboard tie up due to positioning of the gangway. When we arrived because a larger boat was coming in later we were offered either a portside tie up or tie up in such a way that we had no access to power. We chose to have no access to power and had to run the generator at night. It took approximately 2 hours following arrival to receive the key cards necessary to access the doc and the resort. When I arrived I had a full holding tank and was told that the pump out on the dock was broken. Later on in the afternoon they said that was a mistake and actually the pump out was working and did I want to bring my boat around. I was already docked and had no desire to redo everything. We ordered takeout food from Salt, the restaurant there and waited 2 hrs. The morning I left I had to get an early start at 7:00 a.m. nobody answered my hails on the VHF radio or answered the telephone so left the dock on my own. I'm short, wonderful location and facilities but they need to improve their services for regular boaters like me who don't have mega yachts, or maybe they don't want us anymore.

We're given a code to get on and off the dock. The dock gates don't have codes - they use cards. Couldn't get off the dock to get a card, and if we had gotten off the dock and no one was available to get us a card, couldn't have gotten back on the dock. No power on our dock. Otherwise, eventually, dinner at the marina was very good.

Marina, hotel, restaurant all were outstanding. Dock attendants were helpful and staff friendly. Very peaceful and beautiful location.

Felt it was overpriced for Nov. 1. No dockhands available to help with docking or anything else. Dock manager was home so absolutely no dock employees available. One pedestal wasn’t working properly so we kept ripping our breaker .it looks like a lovely place though. Dock manager made it right by us. Nice job.

Dock master Kate was awesome… great restaurant & amenities

There were only 2 showers for a 125 slip marina, and those showers were shared with hotel, spa, and pool guests and were on top of one another with no space to turn around in the tiny changing area. The day we arrived (off season) we had to wait in the steamy area for 15 minutes, and there were no lockers available.

Enjoyed a great "late season" day at Saybrook Point. This is basically a full service resort by the sea with unique spa/pool facilities, excellent on site food, and very scenic walking/biking/golfing right nearby. The thorough welcome pack is necessary because this is so much more than a dock to tie up to! Staff were excellent - friendly and accommodative. The town itself (Marina has a free shuttle bus) is maybe more like 3 or 4 stars, if you don't have specific needs just enjoy Saybrook Point! Note there is some wave action in the harbor when winds are from the South/Southeast as the marina is right where the river meets the sound...but we were there on a windy day and it wasn't a big deal, just reminded us we were on our boat ;)

What a great team - called ahead for docking instructions - told us which side for the lines and bumpers and met us at the slip and helped with the line and electric hookup. Also, gave us a welcome package and explained all the amenities at the resort and nearby attractions. We had 2 dinners at Fresh Salt - the food and service were excellent. The Spa was great also. We left a day early because of the weather and they deducted our last night stay. Overall an excellent experience.

The best marina in Connecticut. Kate and her staff are simply amazing, attentive and accommodating. The facility is superb, from the marina quality, services and all the way to the Inn, spa and restaurant. We come to this marina several times per season!!! 5 STARS indeed!

Great trip with family

Katie and Kaitlin were really efficient. The marina docks were very good and the facilities available for boaters was nice.

So much to love about Saybrook Point Marina - friendly staff, access to the facilities at the Inn including outdoor and indoor pools, exercise classes and gym, spa and bikes to borrow. Location is close to town and easy bike routes; pretty 9-hole golf course about a mile away. And, Fresh Salt, the restaurant, is a favorite.

Very nice amenities and extremely nice staff. Do pay close attention to their directions for the location of your slip.

The staff is second to none. Always a smile and willing to assist.

The marina and resort was great- unfortunately due to wild fires in Canada floods in NH and very bad storms in Connecticut, the Connecticut River was filthy and full of debris, all out of the Marinas control

We were on the outside by the mega yachts which has an occasional boat wake action but our boat is heavy so not a problem. The marine facilities are very well maintained, the restaurant is solid, indoor and outdoor pool, spa facilities are very nice (though you have to reserve well in advance) and fitness center is good. We have been coming for years as this is a great spot to break up a trip to/from Newport from our home port on LI. Dockhands know what they are doing and are very pleasant. Great first or last day of a vacation.

We had planned to stay at Saybrook Point Marina for five days but ran into battery and hot water heater problems so arrived early and left after we had planned. Kate, the manager of the Marina, did some kind of special magic to accommodate us unexpectedly for such a long stay during the busy season. We were there for a full 19 days and the entire crew help us in every way they could including accepting many and sometimes large packages that were shipped to us for our repairs. They treated us like family. In addition, it is a wonderful facility with barbecues, swimming pool, nice restaurants and a spa where we were able to get a much needed massage to temper the pressure of having to get repairs done ASAP. We will be staying there again on our passage south later in the season.

Simply put: World class. We were late arrivals after a last minute cancellation. Maddy helped us dock like a pro. The spa facility was way better than it needed to be, but well-appreciated by my weary crew.

The Dock hands were great! Kate the Dock Master was exceptional! They get a 5 star Plus!Knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Only toppled by here great personality. The dock staff were so friendly and helpful the entire weekend. We can’t thank you guys enough. We came over with around 10 Boats from Mt.Sinai. All will be back. Only reason for the 4 stars was the cleanliness of the pool, large pile of scuzz in the corners like you would see in a hot tub, but 5 times the size. Had to take a hard pass on the pool. The food was great on premise! Get the pork chop! Even if you don’t like pork chops!

Excellent spot! Great food and service

We have been repeating customers for the last 4 years. This year, however, our experience was disappointing. We were assigned to T-head dock “A”, which is basically open to the sound. Aside from all the wash coming from passing boats during daylight hours, when a little bit of swell started coming in from SE at night, our boat started bouncing around heavily against the dock. Note we were using heavy-duty line snubbers; can’t imagine what it would have been like without them. Not worth the premium price, sorry.

Enjoyed our stay as always. Marina staff is always willing to help with anything needed. Only down side was that there was a lot of debris in the water within the marina and around the docks .

Staff was great and friendly, lots of things to do at the hotel. If you come by boat they treat you as if your staying in one of there rooms.

Friendly staff. Great marina with restaurant and access to pool

One of the worst marinas that I have ever stayed. If they don't want sailboat transients then don't take the reservation. We were treated like unwanted visitors. No dock support. No call from the Dockmaster regarding slip assignment. Had to call to confirm dock assignment and hours of operation. No help from the resort desk. Were given keys but no info on facilities, no info on how to navigate the many rooms to best get in and out of the facility. We were obviously just wasting the valuable time of the resort desk. We had to wander around until we found the right door to get in and out. The resort wouldn't take our dinner reservation even though there were at least 15 tables available. We arrived and departed without any interaction from any of the staff. Couldn't wait to leave. I have been to over a hundred marinas during my sailing experience. This was the worst.

Awesome marina, great restaurant.

Lovely marina, run by Kate, who is as capable and enthusiastic a marina manager as we’ve found anywhere. We were there in April, so there were few other boats. The marina is part of a resort, and showers and other amenities are in the resort’s main building. They include indoor and outdoor pools, a full service spa, and a restaurant. Every employee we encountered went out of their way to be helpful. The marina is at the mouth of the Connecticut River, so it’s easy on/easy off from Long Island Sound. The one problem for us on the single night we stayed there was that there was wave action all night strong enough to keep the fenders between the boat and the floating dock squeaking constantly. Regardless, we would stay there again and choose a slip in a different location.

We called ahead, as we would be cutting it close to closing time. The Manager said we would be able to get diesel....when we arrived almost 30 mins before closing we were told the pumps were off.... very dissapointing service for a place charging almost 200 for one nite. Electric service was 20 on top of 180. Little assistance from dock staff... We have stayed here sever times before and the service was excellent and the price was half of above....maybe they are nicer in the off season

Visit this fine place if you want the best. Kate will guide and assist you as one would expect in a five-star hotel. The owner even made time to greet us and see us off. The grounds are impressive, the restaurants and bars are top shelf, and the pool areas are comfortable and beautiful. The hotel lobby and most spaces are graciously designed and inviting, and there is marine art everywhere. There is an enormous amount of attention to detail being paid here. By way of a fun and unique example, check out the old pilings with their caps carved with fanciful water creatures. We've seen many changes over 40 years, and this marina / resort is better than ever.

My first time at this lovely seaside resort. Kate and Katelyn could not have been more friendly and helpful. They really take pride in what they do and it shows. A beautiful resort and marina. I will be coming back with friends!

The Marina is very nice with great dock staff. We didn’t use the pool or Inn facilities. Paid about $550 for 2 nights with a 42’ boat which is on the pricey side. For this price I expect a good working Wi-Fi which they don’t have. It would constantly stop. I am deducting 2 points on my rating based on that at this price point everything should be excellent!

Had a great time at the marina. It is clean, well attended and well managed. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay, and our location was easily accommodated our size boat which is not always easy. It is quite and quaint location. The food at the Fresh Salt restaurant was quite good, with ample selections of seafood. The views from the marina, and sunset is worth the visit alone. We needed fuel before our returm to lower CT, and the support at the fuel deck was awesome, and the fuel prices were very reasonable Hope to see you guys again next season.

The staff were great, very helpful, and treated us the same as the millionaires docked around us even though we had a dingy in comparison. I am still trying to figure out how the dockhand beat me to my slip from the gas dock.

Very nice amenities at the Marina. Staff was friendly and restaurant as well as pools were excellent. That being said WI-FI was horrendous. We had a rainy day and a good signal would of been nice. That being said we will most likely return

It was a fabulous time spent at Saybrook Point Inn. Facilities are immaculate the food is fabulous and the dock staff is very very accommodating.

Hands down, absolutely our favorite marina in New England for a long weekend get away. The Dock staff is extremely helpful, the on site restaurant is exceptional, the facilities are sparkling clean AND the spa turns out some of the best massages I've ever had. If that's not enough, the resort provided free shuttle will take you anywhere in town to visit the lovely Main Street shopping area and more terrific restaurants. What's not to love... Captain Boot

The crew at Saybrook Point Marina couldn't have been nicer! I asked for a slip I could pull into instead of backing in, and they accommodated my request. To make sure we could easily get on and off the boat, they moved the dock ladder. What a nice facility. And, nice people too!

First time to Saybrook Point and nothing but absolute positives to share. AMAZING staff, beautiful marina/pool/spa and just a great destination! We ate a Fresh Salt one night and the food was fantastic as well. A definite stop again for us. We have three girls whom also liked the marina just as much…great for kids as well!

Great place to visit.

The dock team welcomed us warmly, got to us quickly in a skiff, and assisted with check-in, in addition to docking. We felt the offerings at the restaurant were varied and high quality. The marina shower facility is excellent. We appreciated the shuttle service to town. There was a fair surge in the marina at times but nights were calm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and will return!

The Marina is a Great and the food at the restaurant on the premises, Fresh Salt is top quality. The dock fees are aren’t overpriced which makes it another reason that makes it attractive. Highly recommend coming here.

The docks are in fabulous shape. The staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful As a bonus, theres a great restaurant, spa, gym, and other amenities available to the marina guests.

Overnight stay here on our way North. Marina staff were very helpful and professional in helping secure our boat. Lots of activity with the associated hotel. Complimentary bikes which was very nice as the town is only a couple of miles away. They also have a shuttle. Good dockside restaurant. Would come back.

Had a great time. Bathrooms were clean. Boaters friendly. Dockhands were helpful. Only disappointment was the map approaching the marina. If the adjoining marina was included on the map, the approach would have been less confusing. We'll be back.

We just came back from the best weekend Kate and Cooper could not have been more helpful and friendly. We love coming to Saybrook Point - it is the perfect location, near Old Saybrook and the Saybrook Point Inn - the food has always been good, but even better this time.

This is a beautiful marina with an excellent array of amenities! Perfect for boaters with five star boats and five star tastes... We were treated well by all staff members. Our only complaint was having a slip assignment that resulted in a very “tenuous” nights sleep. We understand that not everyone can have an optimal slip in a Marina like this. We only wish that we didn’t have our reservation request accepted. The marina was extremely full and also was hosting a large wedding.

Excellence personified in every detail.

Very positive experience with one negative. A member of our party requested a second key for the resort from the front desk. The response from the staff member was a rude, "What makes you think I can do that?". On the positive side, I accidentally left my credit card at a restaurant at a busy time for the shuttle and near closing. A member of the staff drove me there in his personal vehicle! Very busy place with weddings but overall a good experience.

First time at this marina. We own a 46 foot sailboat. Unfortunately we were directed to a fixed sea wall closest to the public park. The tides are more than 3 feet. Between the current of the river and winds our spot was exposed to marine traffic and lots of waves. It was almost impossible to prepare breakfast each morning due to severe Rocking and bouncing. At night the water calmed down so that we could get in 6 hours of rest. We booked our three night stay over 5 weeks in advance so there should have been time to get us into a Floating dock insulated by the river and marine traffic. Kate the manager was very nice and helpful. WiFi was nonexistent the entire stay. The facility is very nice. Good gym. However weddings are every night so getting into restaurants is impossible. Free bike use. I rate the dock and slip a 1. The pool and facility a 4. One night we chose to use the BBQ grill on the dock. I went to light the grill and two tanks were left empty. I call the desk to request a filled tank and 20 minutes later someone comes. He installs the new tank and the grill does not light. I spent another 20 minutes trying to get the grill to lite. No good. He directs me to the complete opposite end of the facility. Mind you I have food that I am carrying to grill. The first grill I find does not have a tank. The third and final grill has a tank but no starter. I have to remove greasy grates to light the grill. It lites and I am able to cook my dinner. Then walk all the way back to my boat on the exposed sea wall. My food was cold by then. Horrible experience. The final day I walk my 5 pound dog. It’s low tide and the wind is pushing my boat 5 feet off the fixed dock. Holding my dog by her leash I step onto my boat and she slips and falls to the water being saved by my still holding onto the leash. Unfortunately due to our very poor experience with the fixed sea wall we will not return.

The marina staff were amazing - helpful, always smiling, polite, professional. Kate the manager is the best! The entire place is a gem, everyone working there (Marco in the restaurant) worked so hard, and still dealing with staffing shortages. An amazing place

Great location and the dock hand was very helpful! Enjoyed the restaurant and the spa. The courtesy van driver drove us to the nearby Stop and Shop for provisioning which was great. Stayed for two nights to ride out Hurricane Ida's wind and tain.

Great Dock Great Staff great place to visit

The marina is first rate and we love visiting the town of Old Saybrook. We had excellent meals at the hotel restaurant and the live band (The Cartells) on Monday night was fantastic. But the night-time water condition at the docks was rocky both nights of our stay despite great weather (barely any wind)… not the marina’s fault but our 5-star stay was dropped a notch by Mother Nature.

You get what you pay for, top notch professionals working the docks, and a lovely resort at the head of the dock. Music from the restaurant can be annoying if you don’t like the style, but it ends early enough.

The staff was exceptional. Facilities are top notch and you get access to all the amenities. The restaurant has amazing food and service. Only draw back is the excessive amount of movement when tied up. Not much that can be done about it so just be prepared. Great experience overall and will definitely visit again.

Very helpful, friendly and courteous staff. The hotel is beautiful and the hotel amenities are very nice but crowded. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because bathrooms and showers are quite a distance and are used by hotel guests. It was very crowded and there were only 2 showers and toilets. We couldn’t get reservations for dinner so call ahead if you are planning dinner. Also a heads up when coming into the channel. Lots of debris - we saw logs and ldead fish.

Did not have the correct slip upon arrival. Next day I was gone fishing all day. No message received on slip

Fantastic dock. staff assisted in docking. Many amenities offered to marina guests including pools, spas, restaurants, fitness center, bike rentals . after they moved us off the gas dock we were much happier and the staff is FANTASTIC!

Owner of saybrook marina was sooo nice! He let the restaurant know we were coming for dinner with 2 Celiac (gluten free) 15 yo daughters. They were VERY accommodating with meal choices. The driver of the shuttle was a such a breath of fresh air. Excited about his job, happy and super friendly! My daughters thought he was just awesome! Only draw back was trying to get to and from Essex. Very frustrating to not have options for transport beyond Saybrook. No uber, no Lyft. BUT, we took advantage of the 9 Towns Transit - it was amazing so long as it was before 6pm. Free transport - pick up and drop off at your specific locations. Why this isn’t offered as an option to guests is beyond me! After 6pm, though, you’re on your own! Thanks to a friendly homeowner in Essex, we didn’t have to WALK all the way back to Saybrook (2 1/2 hours!!).

The guys at the marina, Cooper and Jack, were great! they helped us move our boat during some strong SE winds.

Best marina we stayed at during a three week boat tour from NJ to Hyannis and back. Dockmaster Kate Moseley is top notch!

This was our first time staying at a marina other than where we keep our boat. "Impressed" does not even come close to the amazing experience at Saybrook Point Marina! As new boaters, we are nervous about certain things but try anything. The gas dock was a bit busy but the crew called us in, guided us with expert experience for a smooth docking. They checked us in while we fueled up, so we could head directly to our slip. The customer service at the gas dock was warm and welcoming. Bella was our attendant and was full of information, which was delivered with a smile and eagerness. We then asked for help getting into our slip (being new boaters) and when we arrived to the slip there were two dock hands at the ready with speed and effeciency - they did every thing with a warm welcome! It brought comfort to our experience. Upon departure (we left early to avoid high winds and rain coming in) I went to the office to ask for help. Bella was there and was again, very friendly, accomodating, full of information and provided comfort and confidence. When we were ready to depart there were two dock hands at the ready very promptly and effectively helped us pivot out of our docking area. One of them is the lead dock manager and he is terrific at customer service! The confidence, accomodations, friendliness and effecient workers was top notch! This marina has set the bar for the other marinas in our future, and I feel a bit apprehensive that anyone will live up to the A+++ experience we had at Saybrook Point Marina. We have already planned to make this an annual trip. The marina is extremely clean all around; the facilities available are top notch (showers, steam room, hot tub, 2 pools, restaurant, several bars, laundry, fuel, ice, etc). Excellent spot for 2 nights of relaxation and enjoyment. I highly recommend booking this as a destination and do it early!

This was our third year staying at Saybrook, and as in the past everything was flawless. The marina and docks are very well kept, and we are always greeted and assisted with big smiles. Looking forward to returning next year!

Dockage was good, Marina attendants were knowledgeable and nice. Restaurant and amenities were very average.

Cooper and the rest of the dock staff were helpful and amazing. The resort has everything you could ask for including free shuttle to and from town.

Top notch marina, the staff was incredible. Indoor and outdoor pools, on-site restaurant and bar. Amenities were top notch. The surrounding town didn't seem to have much to offer but the marina was great!

Very nice facility, helpful and responsive dock hands. Our only “complaint” was the showers: no curtains between active shower area and dressing space and dressing space was so short it was difficult to get dressed in the heat and humidity.

Had some issues with shore power, they immediately were all over it (on busy Holiday Weekend), relocated us to another slip while offering crew support to move the boat. Noticed that another boat crew was loud during the day, handled it effectively with great respect to all parties. Great facilities. They are amazing.

Marina staff are outstanding...especially Cooper! My husband and I have been boating for many years and subsequently have stayed at a number of marinas. The staff at this marina are by far the most professional and helpful we have ever met. Cooper helped with the reservation and ensured us that this would be the least stressful docking experience we would ever have. He was absolutely right. Upon approach the crew answered their radio immediately, assisted with docking, fueling and a pump out, and then met us at our slip to help us tie up. Cooper and the crew were well trained, experienced, efficient, professional, neatly dressed and fun to be around. It appears that all of the staff truly wanted us to have a safe and enjoyable experience. Being on a floating dock is always enjoyable and the live music at the hotel added to the great experience we had. We will be back and will spread the word. Sincerely, the Browns

The facilities are great, with the pool, restaurant and spa all within a few feet of the dock. (Best marina bathroom in long island sound.) The mini golf course located next door, is also a fun activity for the kids and kids at heart. The dock hands are unbelievably attentive and helpful. The one knock is that the marina is relatively exposed, so if there is any weather (especially from NE, E or SE), it can be a rocky night sleep. Overall, though, we have been annually the last four years will definitely be back.

The manager Eric (of the hotel) was extremely helpful, professional and went above and beyond to accommodate our friends who stayed in the hotel. We really love this place.

Great Marina, restaurant and service

Great marina and restaurant, pools indoor and outdoor, spa, gym. Very helpful staff low fuel prices. Mile walk to town to explore. Would have given 5 stars, but not to their fault, the River is very busy and there is a lot of rocking during the day and I had to keep my gyros running to stabilize boat.

Great marina. Dock staff are great and get you squared away. Entrance is a little tight but protected. Food and music in the restaurant was lovely. Good value for money as well.

This marina is very professionally run. Efficiency throughout the process and great communication. Deckhand was super polite and knowledgeable. The restaurant here is top notch and the season slip holders surrounding the transient slips were super friendly and welcoming. I was a little cautious with the COVID environment before making the reservation but the marina and adjacent inn/restaurant were ensuring proper protocols and made us feel safe. Years ago we stayed here and remember feeling more impact from the river wakes but that was not an issue this time. Nice Lobster Shack right next door, as well as opportunity for walking and bike riding.

In spite of ongoing efforts to restore power in the marina after tropical storm Iaisas, the staff went out of their way to make things work. We have only had good experiences here.

We had a great stay at the marina. The dock staff was first rate, great assistance into our slip and lent us a 50amp extension for our stay when our power cord didn’t reach the pedestal. Restaurant at marina was very nice and convenient, and the complementary shuttle bus to town was great as was the driver. Miniature golf next to marina was a plus for our young boys and they also enjoyed the pool. Will be coming back.

Out standing stay for spur-of-the-moment visit We will definitely be back this year

ZERO stars! First of all I would like to make it very clear that I have never complained about a Marina before. When we placed a reservation request, we asked to be docked with our friends.They accepted our reservation and of course money! Upon arrival, we were placed on different docks. Our dock was literally broken and I almost fell twice! Our view was a steel wall on the side of the hotel. The hotel guest could look down at our boat. We were next to a charter boat filled with guests not wearing masks. The only way to get access to the dock our friends were on was to walk through the restaurant...completely unacceptable during Covid. Our friends were docked in front of the outdoor diners on two sides. All the diners looked down onto their boat. They couldn't use the head on their boat because diners were looking in! They faced the steel walls on two sides and the docks were all sub-par. We decided to leave because the marina clearly did not accommodate our request and because we felt they were irresponsible in COVID protocols. We asked for a refund based upon the facts and they denied it. Also, it was a Friday night and I'm sure they resold our slips. We left within an hour of arrival. Update: We are happy to report they refunded our stay. Maybe we will give them another try in the future.

We got to the marina, tied up and left within 30 minutes. We had asked to be next to our friends on their boat; Pi-Seas. We were provided slips on opposite sides of the marina. To walk from our slip to theirs required us to walk through the crowded outdoor restaurant, With diners not wearing masks, while the coronavirus is still prevalent in our society. Our slip was directly under the restaurant on both our starboard side and stern. The pool was also right near our boat. We felt like we were in a fish bowl. The restaurant was so close and the people were looking down on us. Our friends boat was in a slip where they said the dock was broken. They also chose to leave. We spoke to the dock master, Kate, and while she was very nice, she told us they turned away other boaters because they were full and therefore, she could not provide us any refund or credit. Before we left, Kate said she would confer with the marina management and determine whether there is anything they can do. I highly doubt that we would ever go back to this marina and we would certainly not recommend it to our boating community.

Staff is excellent extremely helpfully friendly and courteous. The facility is immaculately maintained. This was our first time to Saybrook point marina and after this visit it will be a regular destination for us from now on.

We made a last minute reservation and they put us on the fuel dock, which turned out to be a pretty good spot given the wind direction. The staff was courteous and helpful. They could not find a way for us to connect the shore power but other than that, the stay was good. There was a vibrant social life on the docks and the people were friendly. One boat got a little out of hand but the staff put an end to that promptly. We liked to location and would definitely return.

Great staff. Great marina. The Saybrook inn is a wonderful place.....and Fresh Salt restaurant is amazing. The town is a little sleepy....but a good getaway from the hustle and bustle. We visit a couple of times a yr. we highly recommend it

Excellent service and the facilities were really clean. They seem to be making all attempts to comply with the COVID guidelines which should be commended. Patrons were respecting others by wearing face mask. Very pleasant stay.

The staff is, as always, friendly and helpful. The location has much to offer, even in this crazy age of Covid. We will keep coming back as we have for many years.

The marina hotel and restaurant are great. The thing to know is if you have a small boat it may be difficult. There is a tremendous surge on the incoming tide creating swells in the dlip area. Boats are bouncing around even when winds are calm. We slept ok on our 37 but beware if you are smaller. Pool and facilities are great. Thanks Rob Northport NY
