To be totally honest, I was unable to take full advantage of the location of my boat due to the fact that in June I was diagnosed with lung cancer. It was successfully removed completely in July, but the recovery initially took 8 weeks. so I was unable to come down to the boat for that period. I did come down to inspect a boat after the near miss by the first hurricane of the season of the East Coast. Although the dock had withstood the high tides caused by a hurricane, the adjacent jet ski dock, for some reason or another, being tied up at the old dock cause it was old it’s being replaced this winter so I’m told, managed to swerve over and one of the tips of the jet ski dock kept hitting the side of my boat, which forced me to put a bumper there, but I couldn’t tell if any significant damage occured, just knew that it didn'tpuncture the side. The damage that it had caused was superficial just on the on the outside there is no puncture or anything, but there are scuffs that I have to buff out.As to the bow of the boat,I had to pull into the dock instead of backing into the dock the way it was situated, and at low tide the bow always stuck in the mud, which I hear is being dredged out this winter also and being an old dock, there were pieces of wood that were screwed in ,some of the screws had worked themselves out and scratched the bow on my boat, some were pretty significant which I will have to repair over the winter. I’ve never done gel coat repair before so this could be a challenge. On the brite side, the location of the marina is just a couple of minutes from the Great Bay,from which there are numerous options for sightseeing, fishing, an inlet or outlet to the ocean and many waterside dining options. The bay also touches the shores of Ocean City, Somers Point, and Longport, NJ,all great family towns. I am very grateful to have my boat docked here and look forward to many more summers. The marina is also minutes from the Inter Coastal Waterway or ICW, which is another great route along the inside of the coast for cruising.

Maybe the worse marina experience I ever had. The marina was effectively vacant of any support, NO Electric all summer which was promised, parking was non existent and the entire facility was in disarray and basically a pig-pen. Plus the new pricing established for this past summer was a premium rate similar to other marina's with premium services. Will not ever go back to this facility

Marina Response:
Hi Tom, thanks for your note & I’m sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We are investing over $1.5M into improvements at this marina. 2025 was our first year of ownership. We had brand new docks installed for slip holders this season, but we never promised electric. To the contrary, we told customers prior to the season starting that electric upgrades would not be completed for 2025 and gave all slip holders the option of going elsewhere if electric as a dealbreaker. Our office managers were on site daily and always accessible by calling the marina phone number. As you were a slip holder, I’m not sure what additional support our office managers could have provided that you did not receive, but at any rate, I apologize that they were unable to assist when needed. We are in the process of clearing out all abandoned boats that we inherited with this Marina and we will have a dedicated parking area next season. Fortunately, for our slip holders, our rates are still well below market rate and that of other marines in the area while we bring the marina up to our standards. Slip holders will see a world a difference for 2026 after we have had a season to clean up the yard and continue investing in improvements. While we are sad to see you go, we’ll be here if you need a Marina in the future.
