Venetian Marina & Yacht Club

The staff at the marina was very helpful and all smiles which is more than I can say for a lot of service in that area. If I was just giving a review on the staff and communication it would be a 5 star. Location is also great with several places to eat, as well as a publix within easy walking distance. The lack of the final star just comes from the facility. For the amount of money they charge they really need to put a little money into the docks. This was the most expensive stay from north Florida all the way to Key West (including Key West) and by far the most sub par facility. A little money spent would go a long way. Overall a good experience and would stay again. I was worried about the chop being so open but it wasn’t bad even with a southeast wind

I was told they closed at 6 pm but the attendant would stay later if needed as long as I called. He gave me his personal cell I called at 445 and was told they decided to close early but someone would be there to help. I got there at 530 and no one was there. I called the attendant and was told he was told to go home and he had no explanation. He told me to go to a particular slip and ask someone on any boat to help. I asked about combination for entry and was told it would be open and if needed security would let us in. Went to dinner and came back later. The gate was locked and security somehow didn’t have a key because someone took one with them and they weren’t allowed to have another one. Security found some one that could climb like a Monkey and they climbed the gate and let us in. Next day I talked to attendant and he was sorry there was nothing he could do! I paid $500 for one night through Dockwa and I deserve some consideration! Than you. Roger Shaul

The crew is amazing! Willing to go out of their way to help slip holders and visitors, but only Michelle and Jose are the ones helping, the other ones including the managers don’t do shit over there!
