The improvements the metroparks put in are nice but it seems they are just taking over the area. There were small sail boats/board taking up valuable parking spaces all summer. I was told the max boat size allowed was 40 foot, there was a huge old wood craft at the end of A dock all summer and large sail boats capping B and C docks. Now we have two very large duck and swan paddle boats sitting in the parking lot, I hope the intended use for these will not include in and around the marina. The new Galley restaurant is a great improvement, but the boat traffic needs to be monitored somehow. The no wake signs mean nothing. The boats on A dock are getting bounced around, damaging them and the docks.
