The power pedestal sockets don’t work well and caused breakers to trip upon connection. Only one outlet per slip is pretty substandard these days—especially for boats with AC.
We had a group of 7 boats traveling together and all but one got incorrect info. about whether they were a port or starboard tie up. When we called in about channel depth ( because we’d run aground there in the past), the young lady who answered the phone had no idea wheat we were asking about and said Just don’t go to Waukegan or Milwaukee. Really??? So not helpful. These kids need some actual training to help people if they are tasked with answering the phone. Fortunately we could see the sand bar and avoided it.
If you give awards for service, give it to the young man at the gas dock, who could not have been nicer or more helpful.
