Report Review
The great: We stayed for two days on a Friday-Saturday. The dock hands were outstanding; the grounds were fantastic; the amenities were great, and the food at the pool bar and restaurant were also phenomenal.
The not-so-great: You can only make reservations through Dockwa, which gives you no opportunity to talk to anybody or know if any slips are actually available, staff hours, etc. and messaging through that app did not provide any responses. What used to be done and arranged in a 3 minute phone call now takes days. Three days after the reservation (Thursday afternoon) I received a call that they didn't have a T-head or slip for my boat (60') and we would have to squeeze into the A-B fairway and tie up on the walkway. To their credit, they did offer to refund the full reservation, but at that point it was too late to get a slip anywhere else. Also to their credit, the dock hands actually called us on Friday to see what our status was so they could make sure there were enough people on hand to help tie up in the high winds that day (we were dumb enough to brave the weather on 06/21).
All in all, the only thing we didn't like was the slip location and communication process, but everything else was fantastic and we would go back every weekend if we could.
