I can't really rate the marina because I can't stay there. In fact, it is difficult to get a transient slip there. I was looking into booking a trip there a few weeks out and looked them up on Dockwa. There were no dates available for the entire season (?). So I messaged the marina and they confirmed they are 100% booked up for the season. The only option for transients is to waitlist. Transient slips are only available based on their members' cruising plans (they must sublet out members' slips when they go cruising). That fact is not clear on Dockwa or on the marina's own website. And they don't communicate with you even when you do sign up on the wait list. A dockmate recently used their waitlist to try and book a slip and never heard anything from the marina. That's not uncommon, I know, when you don't get a slip. But when their entire transient booking process is based on using the waitlist, it's not unreasonable to think they would communicate with people on that list. If you're full for the season (as they are) you probably don't care are about transients. And with these two independent examples of trying to deal with the marina, that's the indication I'm getting. Too bad, too. It looks like a nice place. But the moral of the story for me is, if you're looking for transient slips in Annapolis, you may want to look elsewhere.
