In 2005 Palm Harbor Marina replaced Mahogany Landing Marina, built in 1985. Mahogany Landing was severely damaged during Hurricane Ivan in 2004. Palm Harbor was built using the most advanced modern dock-building techniques. The docks are floating and made of aluminum with hardwood Ipe decking. They are anchored in place with massive concrete pilings that are 70’ in length. The pilings extend 18’ out of the water to deal with storm surges.
In addition to these structural improvements, prominent amenities such as power, fresh water, and WIFI high-speed internet make Palm Harbor Marina a premier Pensacola destination for boat lovers.
We are starting our second year as customers of Palm Harbor Marina and it has been a great experience. We keep our Beneteau 331 on A dock. The location is great - well protected, quiet and close to downtown and all that Pensacola has to offer. Ted, the dockmaster, is great and very responsive. Docks are fairly new, and storm rated, restrooms are basic but clean and they just added a washer and dryer. Strong Wif. Great stop for Loopers or for a weekend in Pensacola.
