Report Review
I stayed at Dana Point marina for three days. On the second day one of my throttle cables broke and caused me to be in operable and so I stayed a third day. During the entire time the staff was available, communicative and accommodating to me. Mostly I dealt with Liz, who I must say has the perfect personality for her job position. Nothing makes us stay in a marina more enjoyable than having the marina staff be good people who want to help. The marina is beautiful and I understand there’s going to be some new construction going on. That’s gonna make it even better. The water is clear and clean. There we great restaurants and stores for shopping. Even things like a sandwich shop or an ice cream place had the best quality food. There’s a market there and there was nothing that I needed that I couldn’t find within walking distance. I love the fact that they have rules and they enforce those rules, but the rules are fair to everyone. Even the voters I met on the dock where I was had my guest slip, happy and wonderful people and I think that’s because of the community of the marina. It was quiet at night and peaceful. I will stay at this marina time and time again as well my family. PS there is a review posted below about slip, M4. I am the Douglas mentioned in the review. This was my fault not putting that key back into the lock box locker where the marina had instructed me to put it. When I got home, I found that key in my pocket. This was at no fault of the marina and entirely my fault and I believe that if I had left that key in the locker box that one star review would not have been posted. And I would like to apologize to the marina for that on my part. I’m very sorry.
