This is a small, quiet marina on Hutchinson Island (Fort Pierce), FL 2 hours' drive north of Fort Lauderdale. Surrounded by new 4-story condo buildings, it is the idea hurricane hole. Beautiful floating docks. No services, such as showers, laundry, fuel, or a marina store, it is very secure. Grocery stores, gift shops, wine/liquor store and many restaurants are within walking distance of 1/2 mile or less. It's a great beach town.
