This was a very spontaneous stop for us. I picked The Island Boatyard out of the MapTech book because our usual marina had no transient slips.
Everyone was great. After booking 2 nights, due to weather we stayed 4 nights and they could not have been nicer. Megan, the manager, was awesome! We had a few really nice talks with her and you could tell her main obnjective was that we were well taken care of. Also Toby, who had just started, was very helpful. He shuttled us to and from the ferry so we could spend the afternoon in Greenport. 2 miles from Mashomack Reserve, which is beautiful for a nice hike. Plus, literally 200 feet from SALT, one of the best restaurants on SI. Highly recommended for location, services and staff. Thanks!
