The marina is in the perfect location. Its location gives an amazing opportunity to see and enjoy the heart of Chicago. Being able to easily access all that Navy Pier has to offer is great, and being able to catch the fireworks as well as the drone show above Nascar was a bonus. Adversely, when arriving to the marina, we did phone ahead as per our email, yet when we arrived, there was still some confusion on where we should dock. There was a dingy in the slip that im assuming should not have been there. Also, there was no hot water for showers and the bathrooms were unavailable from 12:30am to 5:30am for repairs to assist with that issue. There were problems with the gates. After returning to the docks from a walk, I was able to just walk onto the pier without putting in the code. The ship store should have more to offer. It would also be a good idea to sell Navy Pier Marina memorabilia. Which is not particularly
safe with all the foot traffic in the area. Overall, I would definitely come again, but maybe next year after all the kinks have been worked out. I did appreciate the transient pricing. It didn't break the bank.
