Staff very friendly and responsive. Dockhand was there when we pulled in and helped tie up. Property is meticulously clean and the main docks seem to be brand new (or close to it). Our kid loved the pool too.

Good Marine. Had to get use to docking stern in with only pillons on each side of the boat (no dock). Dock hands were great in assisting us.

We haven't stayed here in a long time, the facilities are nice but a few things presented the possibility for improvement. We were given a slip number and some general directions; the slip numbers are on the dock boards so they are not viewable from the water, which kind of makes them useless to transients. The bulk of the boats are fishing boats, so there is a lot of early morning movement. It also lends itself to piles of dock boxes and equipment being stacked on the dock. While not a big issue it did lead to a few incidents of interesting navigation walking the docks. There were signs on several of the poles advertising live music on Saturday nights, we never heard or saw anything. We didn't dine at the restaurant but we did get a cocktail from the bar. For a standard sized plastic cup of frozen strawberry daiquiri it was $21. I guess that's standard for Montauk? Other than that our stay was nice. The power and water were close to our slip and worked without issue. The WiFi is probably the best I've ever seen. We only saw an outage once in the 3 days we were there and it didn't last long, outside of that incident the service was fast and reliable. Garbage cans are conveniently located and are emptied multiple times a day. The dockhands were knowledgeable and helpful. The store is very well stocked with clothing, food, fishing gear, and repair parts. The pool area is nice and their fish cleaning stations are great.

Beauatiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed talking to the season slip holders. Slip location was easy to get to and they were able to have s dock near our travel companions.

Another great visit to Star Island! Staff were on point as usual and the grounds/facilities were meticulous. (Pool, bathrooms, grills, corn hole, “live aquarium”) My “crew” is not used to tying to stationary pilings and the staff has been amazing when it comes to helping out both times I have been here..Stern is floating. I know it’s a little on the spendy side (what isn’t in Montauk 😉) but the restaurant makes a killer egg sandwich in the morning. Only about a 5-10 minute Uber ride into town for shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend this marina!

We were a group of 8 boats and we loved the marina, the facilities and staff! Well done Sam’s Star Island Marina and a big shout out to Ryan for managing our group so well.

Great location, service was outstanding. Will definitely be going back! Only minus was we left our dingy gas can on the dock when we left.

We did the catch & cook at the restaurant and by far exceeded any expectations we had. The chef is amazing. The marina is top notch as well.

Clean, well maintained, convenient. They even have fuel pumps on some of the docks. You can top off your tanks without even leaving the slip. All around a class operation.

Always love this marina. Unfortunately this year during heat wave, the pool was closed for lack of a life guard. Understand that’s a nation issue…colleges opening early. Food at the grill as incredible…breakfast and dinner. Fish tacos and tuna were to die for!

Beautiful Marina!!! Friendly staff and very accommodating. Special thanks to the gentleman and the kid. Who helped me retrieve my phone that fell overboard. Wish I asked their names to thank them personally. Especially the kid that dove into the harbor and got it on the first try!! Thanks again and we’ll be seeing you soon!!

Just a nice clean marina and welcoming staff and just the right amount of needed facilities

Marina was nice, amenities were fine. The marina seems to be for fishing boats. Docks were way cluttered with, coolers, dead bait, filleted fish guts etc. Not a yachting marina. Staff were nice.

Great marina. Kids loved the pool and catching stripers right off the dock. Ability to gas up right in your slip is fantastic.

Terrible!!!!! The pool was closed because the Life guard was not available. I paid over $250 and traveled from Babylon, NY to enjoy my stay in Montauk for nothing. Will not be returning to Star Island ever again. Would give this place a zero if I could.

Great Marina! Really helpful staff. We had a minor engine problem, I mentioned it to the dockhand and he sent a mechanic right down. Had it fixed in no time.

The staff was nice and helpful. Having fuel at every dock slip was great. Food in the restaurant was pretty good. Showers and bathroom were decent (not Old Saybrook, but much better than the Oar). Very strong fishing boat presence on the docks. In a 25 knot easterly, the water was relatively calm and protected.

great place - easy to get in and out of... dock hand help was great... we didn't try the restaurant as we ended up eating at other places but overall, very satisfied...

Generally a nice place. Has a well appointed store and a causal restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. Two negatives I’d say. It’s very expensive at about $8/ ft. Store prices are similarly high. I paid $55 for a 25’ dock line I needed. Also with a lot of fishing boats, it can sometimes get a bit noisy by about 6:30 am so not great if you want to sleep a bit late. Sunday’s seems quite than other days.

It is a nice marina, not $252 nice. There were 4 other marinas nearby at have the cost. It is on an island so it is a mile and a half walk to the restaurants and bars. The showers while clean were claustrophobic super small shower and dressing area. Pool closed at 6pm.
