About
The Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club is a private club catering to the social and athletic interests of our members and their families.
The Club was founded in 1901 when plans were drawn for the golf course. Around 1917, yachting was added and in the early 1920's, the Clubhouse was moved to its current location. Throughout the years, facilities were added and improved upon.
Today these facilities include: a 9-Hole Golf Course, 8 Har-Tru and 2 Hard Tennis Courts, Olympic Swimming Pool, Kiddie Pool, Men's, Women's, Boys' and Girls' Locker Rooms, and a 100-Slip Marina as well as our fine Clubhouse.
While moorings and slips are available to boaters, the Pine Orchard Club is a private Club. The facilities of the Club are for the sole use of its members and their guests. Transient slip and mooring holders do not have access to the golf course or tennis facilities. Amenities like the swimming pool and restaurants are available for reciprocal yacht club members only.

The transient moorings are beautiful with a lovely view of the Sound, The Thimbles and a sandy shore. The facilities are excellent with pool and shower/locker rooms and the clubhouse lovely. Marcello on the dock was immeasurably helpful as all attendants were. We arrived on Labor Day and, though the club was having a clam bake party, they allowed us to join and it was great. We will absolutely return.
