Nice place. We came for one night in late Sept. Got instructions over text/email, and everything was simple and easy. The clubhouse had a cozy old vibe and the bathrooms were decent. Super calm water that far into Gloucester Harbor, which was great. Short walks to dinner at The Lobster and breakfast at Zekes — both good.
Stayed for two days after Labor Day. The owners are very friendly and helpful — ran down to help me dock. Docks had everything you need. Clubhouse was cozy and included a coffee machine. Great place to dock!
Excellent small marina with clean bathrooms and a great clubhouse. Favorite place to stay in Gloucester.
This is a small family-owned marina in a great location at the end of Gloucester harbor. Mostly locals on the dock, but everyone was very friendly and invited us to their clubhouse party for the Schooner weekend festivities.
We had two great nights in the inner harbor. Fireworks, parade of lights and delicious dinners out. All of the above was not missed on a peaceful Sunday night. The Gloucesterman Launch now charges $10 per person each way so bring a dingy.
Extremely nice marina in Gloucester MA! Friendly people greetings us at the docks - clubhouse really nice. Close to town, restaurants and grocery shops. Definitely we will be back!
Great marina! Very accommodating and super fast response to inquiries. Highly recommend!
Only used mooring . Cannot comment on other amenities
This was a ghost marina. No one to help with lines. No one in office or building. No instructions or information. No answers to calls on radio. Absolutely no service whatsoever! If marinas charge premium pricing, they should at least be available to welcome customers and give orientation. No value for the money.
Great quiet location to spend the night in Gloucester. Walking distance to downtown, about 10-15 minutes. Breakfast place close by as well as a fishing/bait store. Very friendly people and great clubhouse with new/clean bathrooms/showers, coffee, and lots of space to hang out.
Off-season visit, outstanding personal service from reservation to docking, and an invite to the club's internal Halloween Party. I recommend this nicely kept small marina with great people, facilities, and easy access downtown.
No one there to greet us or help tie up. "Clubhouse" was deserted. Had to walk nearly two miles to get to our restaurant. Maybe during the summer season, but definitely not during October.
As advertised and we were welcomed on the dock by two gentlemen who tended to our lines. Facilities were great. We'll be back.
Small, family run, and helped us out with a last minute slip during the busiest weekend of the summer. Nice place.
I usually trailer my boat but it was a busy weekend. So I decided to book a local marina. Super clean and friendly. Club house was inviting. All the other long term slip owners were helpful when trying to dock the first time. Access to it by car was perfect. It is now my plan to stay here every year. Next time longer or hopefully permanently since I live local to it.
Wonderful people, very clean, excellent facilities. Looking forward to next visit!
Had a lovely long weekend on the mooring which is conveniently located in the inner harbor. The marina itself was very nice and clean and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We will be back next season, thanks!
Excellent Great owners and very clean restrooms and showers
Our stay at Pier 7 Marina was great -- very welcoming marina - I would highly recommend!
Very nice marina! Neat and clean, great facilities. Convenient location!
Great Marina, docks are like new condition. A small popular marina with many full season boaters, great people and a dog friendly environment which was a bonus considering we had our GSP with us. Super inner harbor location and you can walk to many restaurants. We will be back.
Amazing amazing amazing. We found this gem and had an absolute blast. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The facilities are second to none, the showers and kitchen are sparkling clean and readily available, everyone went out of their way and was super friendly, we can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely amazing marina.great clubhouse with all the amenities. 1st class all the way cant wait to go back
Nice little marina. The club house is a very cool old building, the restrooms and showers were very nice and clean. Very well maintained and everyone was very nice. Only 1.3 miles from town and very walkable.
Very well maintained docks, clean and very friendly service. Kathy is such a nice lady and really Helped me out during the off season, pier 7 is definitely top of my list for docking in Gloucester. Thanks again for having me. Dave Spence , novakane
Would have given them a 5 star but mooring was very far from marina.
Very nice marina with a club house and professional and courteous owners.
Great place, nice location, quiet and peaceful. The woman who answered our reservation call was very helpful. Thanks.
Pier 7 is a fantastic marina with extremely helpful and friendly owners and members. The facilities are updated, clean and comfortable (docks, showers, kitchen, clubhouse) with great restaurants nearby. Everybody was very warm and welcoming. We definitely plan to be back!
They were able to take our reservation at the last minute. Very clean and friendly. We will stay again.
Excellent service. They were able to take our last minute reservation as one of the other marinas (7 Seas Wharf) turned out to not be able to fit our boat. They are walkable from the town (though due to a thunderstorm, I was unable to do so on our single night stay). It looks like they are going through renovations, so hopefully they'll have laundry and reliable wifi soon!
Easily the best place to stay at the dock in Gloucester. Very well maintained. Easy approach. Friendly owners. 5 minute walk to town. Clubhouse with (very) clean showers, kitchen, area to relax. Whenever I go to Gloucester, I stay here.
New owners, very nice, met Cathy. Lots of folks lent us a hand at docking. New finish on wood docks, comfy clubhouse, nice shower and bathrooms. Good dinner and drinks, walked to Seaport Grill and nice breakfast across the street at Zekes !
The shore power was not there for us but except that the marina was nice and clean well sheltered and we have been very well welcomed !
Marina was CLOSED--locked up tight--all day. Could not contact them by phone or radio. Had to beg a mooring from the harbormaster. Do not do business with this marina!
The mooring was visible, included a pennant pickup, and was serviced by the harbormaster launch. little or no interaction with the Marina other than to get a location and description of the mooring. Good value.
