Inner harbor can be super tight between moorings but nice and protected from most prevailing winds and compared to outside is pretty completely sheltered. In 2026, dock and dinghy docks were brand new. There are 2 restrooms (repaired/refreshed while we were there) open during the day and 2 showers with a combo, old but large and with hot water. The location is super convenient to shopping, groceries, ferry, and the free MV bus system. There's a free pumpout and water at the dock and we really appreciated the pumpout boat service, the harbormaster will come to your boat for free, very quick response! The ferry horns are loud but you get used to them and the many classic boats in the harbor are beautiful. The harbormaster staff are friendly and helpful. Harbormaster Morgan was really great! We look forward to returning next season.
