Everything was great! Thanks for a good stay.

Marina Response:
Thank you Mary! We appreacite reviews and love that you recognize that our staff members are working hard. The marina itself is over 37 years of age, and we are trying to get a brand new marina, which is owned by the State of Colorado, as soon as the CPW budget allows. It has been on their Capital Improvement List for many years. Fingers crossed! Looking forward to a great 2024!

Booking and getting in the marina was easy. Communication was good and easy. Simple and clear text mssg. No problems. Docks inside the marina have sharp metal edges. No bumpers or rollers on ends. Can see where they used to have these in place now just more metal hanging out to clip you boat. Wood walk ways worn and covered with animal droppings. Overall easy use but be prepared with extra hands on the ground to dock and plenty of bumpers

Poorly maintained. Reduced services ie no trash, poor restroom facilities. Primarily a concert venue.

Marina Response:
While we always respect reviews, sometimes they choke us up! We know Fred W. quite well. He has been at the marina, we believe, longer than anyone. I personally have been there for 34 years. We would take exception to the review that the marina is "poorly maintained". Our Marina Manager has over 27 years of experience operating marinas in Colorado - as is a Certified Marina Manager and well-regarded in the field. Our marina crew work tirelessly to maintain the docks - which are past their prime. This involves welding repairs and cleaning daily. Until the State gets a new marina for Cherry Creek Reservoir, it will be a challenge for many, Fred included. The "poor restrooms" can only refer to the only one open to the public on the docks. While not in bad shape, it is being replaced with a brand-new one for the 2024 season as well as a new pump-out station that was funded by the State (the Stae of Colorado owns the docks, marina, parking lots, sidewalks and The Lake House). There is a beautiful indoor heated and air conditioned restroom with a shower, fully tiled and open 24 hours a day on the dock that is available to slip holders for a small annual fee. There is a great "Live At The Lake" Concert series at Pelican Bay. It is only on Wednesday nights in July and August. Please come join us and look for the concert schedule on the website www.pelicanbaycherrycreek.com . The Lake House is an event center that hosts weddings, corporate events and social parties year-round. The Pub is a great bar right next to the beach and is open seasonally from May through September.

Less than one star. No reasonable access to water throughout the entire season, so a very expensive boat storage option. No reasonable discussions about reimbursement at any level. Marina Management so greedy as to not even return the "Hoist Fee" when there is not even a hoist in place. Terrible experience and will never return to Cherry Creek.

Marina Response:
Again, we are sad to see reviews like Phillip's. He has moved on and we wish him the best. The State did remove the crane, one of only two in the entire state of Colorado.

Time for an Update to marina that is almost 50 years

Marina Response:
You are correct. Docks are closer to 35 years old and the Lake House is 23 years old. Thanks. Phil

Positives:\nProud to bring family and friends to this venue.\nNegativies:\nPay for 7 mo. of water and Exutive bath but tipically get 5.

Marina Response:
Thanks Lee. Freezing temps are our main concerns in April and October with the water and bathroom systems. Phil
