ILMS does a great job and their staff is so great and helpful! Floating docks may need sanding before next summer. Really miss the pub and events at the boat house from previous summers. They were fun, had a good vibe, and helped keep more people around to keep an eye on things.
Jake and team are amazing. Love having our boat on the water so close to home.
I am writing to express serious concerns regarding the deteriorating conditions and safety risks at Cherry Creek Marina. Despite high slip rental rates, the services offered have steadily declined due to state park limitations, and the docks themselves are in poor condition and require immediate replacement. Furthermore, water level management alongside the Army Corps of Engineers has created hazardous launching and retrieval conditions. The West Ramp was closed, leaving the East Ramp as the only option, where submerged rocks caused significant damage to my boat's propeller during retrieval. Slip fees should directly support infrastructure upkeep and water-hazard mitigation. I urge park and marina management to address these structural and safety issues promptly. Shawn O'Keefe
Just wanted to say thx to Tim and his crew for their excellent service during my stay at Pelican Bay Marina at Cherry Creek state park. Their timely manner and easy booking through the Docwa app was greatly appreciated and I would encourage anyone looking to rent a slip for a night or the weekend to use this Marina. Thx again guys see ya on the water!
Park fixed the boatyard pavement, added ramp parking, and opened close by launch ramp. Marina cleaned up grounds and restored trash and repaired docks. Sailing club very active. Improved envoronment.
Dock workers were very accommodating for all my needs. I received quick responses to my requests. The marina has a PUB which had very irregular hours and was over priced. Price of gas at the dock was twice what I could pay at a gas station.
Marina staff is very helpful and professional.
We love it! The convenience gets you out on the lake more.
Great short stay! We really appreciated the thoughtful staff and convenient location.
Great weekend camping and having a slip at pelican bay. Store had ice and a clean bathroom. Couldn't have been better.
Everything was great! Thanks for a good stay.
Booking and getting in the marina was easy. Communication was good and easy. Simple and clear text mssg. No problems. Docks inside the marina have sharp metal edges. No bumpers or rollers on ends. Can see where they used to have these in place now just more metal hanging out to clip you boat. Wood walk ways worn and covered with animal droppings. Overall easy use but be prepared with extra hands on the ground to dock and plenty of bumpers
Great staff! The slip is convenient enough for a few days of sailing, but the staff truly is awesome. We had some troubles with the boat and had to limp into one of their rental slips during a squall (after they had closed for the evening). Before we returned he next morning, they had moved our boat to it's proper slip and didn't give us any attitude about it. They even lent us a couple of tools we didn't have on hand and recommended a mechanic who could help with outboard tune up.
We enjoyed our time, the staff is great!!
Very friendly and extremely professional.
Less than one star. No reasonable access to water throughout the entire season, so a very expensive boat storage option. No reasonable discussions about reimbursement at any level. Marina Management so greedy as to not even return the "Hoist Fee" when there is not even a hoist in place. Terrible experience and will never return to Cherry Creek.
Time for an Update to marina that is almost 50 years
Phil was very helpful. Thank you!
Lots of fun things going on this last weekend. Love Pelican Bay.
They keep a watchful eye on my boat and were helpful with covers and ties.
Positives:\nProud to bring family and friends to this venue.\nNegativies:\nPay for 7 mo. of water and Exutive bath but tipically get 5.
Pelican Bay is my absolute favorite and so happy to be a part of their Dockwa family. Everyone is so helpful and welcoming and I can't wait for next season!
Working with Phil is great he is very professional and easy to work with\n
