We are a full service, family owned, Boatyard Marina located on the Patchogue River in Westbrook, Connecticut.
Established in 1965 by Harry and Marguerite Ruppenicker, our 76 slip marina provides a friendly and casual setting for boaters to relax and enjoy their boats while offering all of the services expected of a boatyard.
All of Long Island Sound's great coastal destinations are within easy reach of Westbrook; it is the ideal port to begin your daysail or boating vacation.
A wide range of restaurants, shops and the Town Beach are all within walking distance. Two large outlet malls(Clinton Crossing and Westbrook Outlets); the historic towns of Essex and Chester and the Essex Steam Train are all within a 15 minute drive from the marina.
We offer mechanical services for inboard engines. Owner, Harry Ruppenicker, Sr. has over 50 years of experience as a marine mechanic and specializes in Chrysler Marine and Sailboat Auxillary Engines.

Great family place. Welcoming (stayed late to dock me), clean, walkable to dining. Floating docks. Very protected from waves / storms.
Cute little marina tucked away for a quiet night. Nice little seafood restaurant & bar with live music, ice cream, etc. and more within walking distance. A good value for a basic over night stay.
Marina’s that are struggling, book a stay at Harry’s. All I can say is everything is done right. Neat clean facility and very well organized. Great value for the price and no cancellation fees.

It’s great there is still a family owned marina, one not owned by an investment group. Very responsive to helping out and fun to talk to. Good signs to find marina and fuel dock. Showers/restrooms spacious enough and clean, but not fancy. I encourage supporting independent operators. Very reasonable $

Took us on short notice, lots of assistance, placed us in good spot, friendly,welcoming.
Very quiet and friendly. And the little store had the fresh water pump belt I needed to repair my pressure water system on board!
Very nice and clean. Common cook area with gas grill and chairs very nice under roof. Bill's seafood restaurant just up creek by dinghy. Stayed at gas dock. Sees only gas No diesel.
Avoid the insanity across the river, spend your transient night here. Well kept yard, docks in good repair, nice and much appreciated bathroom and shower facilities. In a quirky touch, there's a red British phone booth and a post box, if you have 10P.
Arrived in thick fog in the evening, but easy channel to follow and calm slips. Arrived after closing and tied up at fuel dock as requested - space for a 45ft sailboat no issue on that dock. Supplies are a short Uber ride away. In morning meet Harry, who was a helpful gentleman. Not a country club Marina but looked like it had places to picnic and is recommended.
