Spring Point Marina

Such a great crew, run as a "tight ship" by the dock master Peter. The water pressure is almost as strong a pressure washer, power is stable and loaner cars. Can be tad rolly during the day with boat wakes from the harbor but it calms down at night. It's definitely our go to in Portland.

Peter and the whole crew we courteous and extremely helpful. Restrooms and showers were clean and well attended. Relatively easy to get into downtown Portland. Spent time here last year, again this year with friends, and next for sure.

Pete is amazing, so customer focused. We had many changes due to weather conditions and Pete was more than accommodating. The dock was a little bumpy from boaters not running at no wake coming in and out but that can happen anywhere. We will be returning on our way home!

Lots of good things here - excellent staff, good onsite restaurant, marine store, fuel, nearby grocery and marine stores, loaner vehicles, nice restrooms, showers and laundry. The only downsides: its a bit of hike to the facilities if you are on the far dock, and there can be a fairly strong surge in the marina from wakes in the outer channel.

Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. Peter is will to help with any of your needs. Hannah and the rest of the dock crew are clearly professional along with great experience in helping you dock your boat at the fuel dock or dock in and out of the slip as a single handler it means a lot. This is my 3 time at Spring Point Marine and definitely will be back on my return trip south. Thank you!

The BEST experience! This place is first class all the way from beginning to end. Their cancellation policy is much better than competitors. We were helped by Dave, Liam, Peter and Hannah who were all outstanding. Having a loaner car made our lives much easier and helped us enjoy Portland.

The marina is clean and modern and the staff was fabulous.

I came in to get out of rough waters and impending thunderstorm. These guys not only took me in, they went out of their way to make my stay as easy as possible. Possible. Every single person I met was super nice and helpful. The marina facilities are awesome, and they're right in South Portland. I can't recommend this marina enough.

Nice folks, super clean docks and facilities. Easy in and out. Good walking trail nearby, friendly bar and grill 5 minutes on foot, fancier restaurant right at the marina.

Dock crew were very helpful and always available. Nice new docks and facilities. It was our second time visiting while stoping in Portland in route north or south.

I never take the time to setup a user name and password to write reviews but Peter & his staff were so accommodating and helpful that I did. I wish I could give them 1000 stars. We are moving aboard our boat from land life and Peter set us up on a dock location that made moving household items so easy. He greeted us with a lovely welcome bag & could not be nicer. Thank you so much! We will be back in New England next season and will definitely make this a stop.

Peter and his team at Spring Point Marina are exceptional! We first saw the marina in the Waterway Guide but we were concerned about depth. A quick call to Peter confirmed that indeed, they did have the depth to accommodate our 6.5 foot draft. When we mentioned to Peter that we might need to find a ride down to Logan Airport in Boston (over 2 hours away) Peter quickly added that they could help us. SO GREAT! We spent 9 days with the team at Spring Point Marina, which included a quick trip home to the west coast to check on things. And Peter's team did indeed drive us to Boston. AMAZING! Our boat is a heavy Nordhavn trawler and Peter arranged for us to be in a sturdy inside slip, which was terrific. We also used the marina's courtesy car to go to the grocery store and reprovision for our next month's travels - so very appreciated! We didn't eat at the restaurant onsite but it looked terrific. The location in South Portland is walkable to a few restaurants and is a $9 Uber ride to downtown. Or use the courtesy car! Even better! While we were gone the team kept a sharp eye on our boat, and we felt comfortable knowing that this group of knowledgeable, friendly people were watching out for us. Overall, an incredible experience, with awesome people and a great marina. We will be back!

This is fantstic marina. The staff were friendly, professional, and they went out of their way to assist me. The location is excellent and well protected, one of the most peaceful, calm docks I have stayed at during my voyage from Long Island to Maine. There is also a beautiful bistro on-site with stunning views of Portland and the harbor. It was a most enjoyable experience.

Due to emergency medical appointments, we needed to be in the Portland, ME area. In our search, we came upon Spring Point Marina. Boy were we lucky to have found this place. The Dockmaster, Peter, and the marina staff were awesome—very efficient and professional. Not only were the amenities great (the wifi could be a bit more stable), Peter was so easy to work with and understanding of our medical and veterinary needs. The marina’s courtesy car made our lives as transients so much more stress free for our appointments. The boating community at the marina also made us feel like we’re part of their “family”. We will definitely be back to this marina the next time we are in Maine.

Excellent Marina and staff!

Our absolute favorite stop in Maine! Thank you to Pete and his staff for all the accommodations. The courtesy car was a game changer. The facilities were very clean and private. The full-service fuel dock with complimentary pump outs, as well as the boathouse with beer for sale, was always staffed with helpful marina crew. We will be sure to tell anyone heading into Maine that Spring Point Marina in South Portland is a must-stop destination! P.S. There are two delicious places to check out right around the corner. El Corazón Casita is an authentic Mexican restaurant with the best California burrito you can find in Maine. Spring Point Tavern is the perfect hangout spot for reasonably priced drinks and great bar food. Both places are dog-friendly with shaded backyard patios.

Wow, what a marina! Very easy to get in and out and the closest marina to the mouth pof Portland harbor. Very modern docks and facilities. Harbormaster was very attentive and helpful on arrival. They can even provide a loaner car! Bath/shower/laundry facilities are great, but a looooong way from the end docks. Marina is not walking distance to stores, but there is that loaner car. On premises marine supply was closed the entire time we were at the marina. On premises restaurant looked nice (didn't try it). We had an issue with shore power. The circuit breaker on the outlet tripped causing an alarm. The marina staff were unresponsive in getting to it.

I could not possibly do justice to the level of service we received here. We were staying as transients near the end of the season when word came that a big storm was incoming. Peter reached out to us to warn me about it and helped me get the boat to safety. He even went so far as to send Josh, one of his employees, with me over to Portland Yacht Services to make the transfer easier. I don't think I've ever seen someone go so far above and beyond to help.

This was easy to get in and out of, and the dock staff is terrific. Pete and the team are very nice and everybody is on a first name basis here. Let me borrow a car to go to town and get things I needed. I will definitely come back, terrific place nice people

Dockmaster is extremely helpful. Would have been 5 stars if not for the rolling. Marina is subject to a lot of wakes.

Awesome marina. If you stay out on the main dock (T Head) have plenty of bumpers out. It rocks and rolls from the wake off the main channel. Other than that. Great staff and facilities

the dock staff was great. i wish that i was informed of codes, use of hoses ect when or before i rented.

Marina and staff were awesome. Nicest boaters we have met for awhile. Stayed there 3 weeks as we had a land trip planned. Dockmaster gave us a very good deal and we felt like they would keep an eye on our boat. Wonderful big park right next to marina for dog walking.Recommend.

We loved our stay at Spring Point Marina! They bent over backwards to help us. When we needed help with our batteries, they sent Bob from the marine service Dept. Loved the loaner car, the fabulous bathrooms/showers/ laundry, and the can do attitude! Thank you!

Fabulous. Spring point is great and accommodating.

Beautiful location, fantastic dock master and dock hands. So helpful and friendly. A great community vibe. Close enough to Portland, but remains private and away from the fray. The transient slip we were in did get some motion at times, but we felt secure at the well maintained floating docks. A great entry point into Maine. We plan to make Spring Point our exit stop as well.

The staff is always ready and willing to assist with whatever you need. it's a bit of a walk to the restrooms/showers, but they are clean and modern. Fuel is very competitively priced for the area. They also make a courtesy car available that is a nearly new GMC Arcadia and they do not put a time restriction on it's use.

Of the many marinas I've visited this was by far the most polite, professional and accommodating I've experienced. If you want a pleasant stay, with wonderful people around and a great setting, this is the place to go. I wish more businesses in our country treated people the way this one does.

The staff was very accommodating and welcoming! We were given a very nice dry bad. They have a courtesy car you can use to go into town about 2 miles away. Great place to walk with your pet . The restaurant 48 degrees was excellent. We will return next year!!!

I could not fill my water tanks from the water connection at the slip. Too far away. Upon arrival the kid army the fuel dock was super helpful until I was secured in my slip.

An excellent facility. As you arrive it is clear that your business is appreciated. Staff is very responsive and helpful. There are good restaurants and a bar within walking distance and anything you need can be had via their courtesy car. Easy gas docks and pump out. Definitely a good stop.

Service was fabulous. Very nice dock. The amenities, including the availability of the use of a vehicle was fantastic. Nice, new, and very clean facilities. Would highly recommend!
