Puerto Rico is open to receive vessels from other jurisdictions. But the vessel have to notify the Department of Natural resources, marine division, US Custom and the marina the boat intends to reach. Once on port they will need to keep quarantine for 14 days or provide evidence of covid 19 negative tests.
Located on the south coast of Puerto Rico, Marina de Salinas sits in the Caribbean Sea, with mangroves that line our beautiful coast. It is truly a tropical paradise with year round sunshine and with people as warm and inviting as its weather.
Conveniently used by many sailors as a “hurricane hole,” our Marina is fully equipped for 103 vessels. Marina de Salinas provides water, electricity, ice, gas/diesel facilities, parking area for vessel owners, private showers, laundromat, and many other facilities for our customers. Transients can reach the marina on channel 16. Guests can explore eight miles of keys by kayaks, sit back and relax by the pool, or escape the sun by taking cover at our sunset bar, Jalan, Jalan. All 32 comfortable rooms and suites are equipped with television, telephone, double beds, private bathrooms, and are fully air conditioned. You can enjoy lunch or dinner while taking in the marvelous views of the Caribbean Sea, the mountains, and our exclusive Marina. Marina de Salinas offers the Costa Marina restaurant which includes international cuisine with a great selection of fresh seafood and glamorous drinks.
Very little room to maneuver at fuel dock for our 49 ft sailboat. 6.5 ft depth. Marina itself is quiet but VERY noisy motorboats and sea-doos pass by on weekends. No marine supply store or mec shop nearby. Dockmaster Antonio is very helpful.
