Old, completely worn-out rickety, hot metal docks that our golden retriever could not tolerate walking on. Was quite an extremely long walk to land. Only thing there, is a super far walk to an overpriced restaurant that has anot endless variety of smokers.
NO docklands were available to us , and we called on the phone as well as VHF in advance. Only 2 , VERY loose and severly undersized cleats in our 40 foot slip. Adjacent boat to our left, was only one foot away and hardly enough room for bumpers!
Frustrating as all get out!
We originally decided that this would be an ideal location based on the glowing description that was written on this site by Haverstraw marina itself. To sum up, It did NOT live up to much if anything at all that was written.
