We had a pleasant stay at Safe Harbor Glen Cove. The dock master was extremely helpful as we tied up and he provided a lot of good information concerning the yard and the surrounding area. The heads, showers and pool were a fairly long walk from our pier but were modern, clean and in good condition.
There’s a good sounding BBQ restaurant on the marina grounds but it was closed on the Tuesday we tried to visit it.
My only minor complaint is that, like most of the marinas we stopped at on our way down the Hudson to Long Island Sound, this marina had no way for us to dispose of recyclable plastic.
