Lovely marina, wonderful helpful and professional staff

Still the off-season, but still very prompt and courteous service. Will be back!

Even though it was in the off-season, the marina accommodated our request to dock, and was very accommodating when our plans changed due to weather. The marina is a short walk into town, which is a great place to visit.

Update: 3 to 5 stars! I received a call from the owner shortly after this and he sincerely apologized for the way I felt I was treated and acknowledged it was unacceptable. He appreciated my feedback, good or bad, and assured us that is that is how he keeps his team and his business in better shape. This is why I will keep coming back. This was our third visit to St Michael's Marina. Booking, Docking, check-in, seemless as always. But they only get 3 stars this time. Went to take a hot shower and the water took 5 minutes to go from cold to luke warm. Then another 5 to get to 'warm enough'. More frustrating than that was I told the dock master about it and he barely even looked up and said, "ok, thanks", and went back to doing what ever it was that was more important. We expected more, like maybe “oh, sorry about that. I'll get right on it so no one else is inconvenienced like you were, sir." Guess not.

Gorgeous marina! We love the town. Very quaint, lots to do all within walking distance. We arrived during winter hours and Mike was super accommodating. Very hospitable. We had a great stay and walked away with a token photo of our boat. Thank you so much Mike. See you next year!

The dockhands were excellent when we were coming in and our slip worked well. We were by the bar and restaurants so it was noisy. However, the men’s head was not clean and needed attention. Furthermore, we needed a pump out in the morning but there was a large power vessel docked at the fuel dock making the pump out inaccessible. Finally, the marina was out of ice by late afternoon, which was unfortunate for our dark and stormy’s.

Great staff. Super friendly and helpful dock hands but one of the men's comodes was backed up all day Saturday. Several slip holders mentioned it to staff (I told two staff about it). Finally cleared and cleaned Sunday morning. Disappointing for what is otherwise, a wonderful Marina.

Great Marina and location! Short walk to awesome maritime museum

Best dockhands and dock master I’ve bet encountered. Few things I wasn’t that happy about: extremely close to restaurant guests so it was a bit awkward relaxing on the boat and everyone’s watching us…wish there were drinks or at least water we’re for sale at the check-in area so we didn’t have to walk all the way to the grocery store or wait for the restaurant to sell open container drinks…bath shower waters were hotter…dog poop bags in case we run out…and don’t cut grass when boats are docked at the spot (had grass all over our boat and our belongings Sunday morning). Also wish there was instructions given prior to our trip on what to do before coming in, but luckily I reached out and asked. Overall, great marina team. Place is super convenient and within walking distance to everything. Super friendly staff. Seems like everyone was happy to be there. Love that I can use an app to communicate. Super sweet they gave us a commemorative photo. Love that you can pump gas at your slip. First time here and it’s not going to be our last.

What a nice location. Awesome dockhands, great store, friendly staff, fantastic location to walk into town. Great restaurants and bars very close. You can’t beat St Michael’s Marina when visiting St. Michaels.

The Team at SMM are absolutely outstanding. The friendliness and professionalism right from the first phone call until we departed the dock after our stay was great. One of the best on the East Coast.

Always a great experience staying at the town dock. Mike and the rest of crew go out of their way to make your stay a pleasurable one.

Convenient location, great staff, laundry was down due to flooding so used loaner to go to laundromat.

Everything was great with the exception of the non floating docks. Finger Piers are narrow and for someone older a bit dangerous.

St Michaels and the Marina is a great and iconic place to stay! Beautiful scenery in a scenic atmosphere and great staff that is always available to help! One of my favorite places to go!

Very professional dockhands - difficult and narrow docking processes throughout marina - but remain calm and slow and the dockhands will get you in safely. Tremendous place for foodies and chillaxing - met some new great friends.

Great time, Great service. Our neighbors said there were no laundry facilities. That would be nice, but that's the only issue and it's a minor one. Loved the ability to fuel up on diesel in the slip!!! Thats a luxury. Love the access to the restaurant and bars on site and walking distance to town! It's the only marina option for me in St Michaels!

We have a 58’ Krogen and it was very easy coming into and docking in this marina. The marina is very accessible to restaurants and to the very nice town of St Michaels. The marina staff is extremely helpful and nice! We had plans to stay about a week but we loved this marina and town so luckily they were able to work it out where we were able to stay for 12 days. They have a pool on-site and 2 restaurants. I highly recommend stopping here!!

Not a bad marina. A little cramped, having to fit us into a berth, that required us to wait for others to leave. Dock staff are a little aggressive and rushed, almost as thorough they are doing you the favor. No information was given about amenities, like where the bathrooms were…. Etc. when asking where the restrooms were, we were asked “weren’t you told when you arrived”. ….. YOU were the one who should ha e told us, as YOU were the one that “checked us in”

We had not stayed in a St. Michaels Marina in 22 years -- We always choose to anchor out in the Miles River or San Domingo Creek. Since We are Retired, and have the opportunity to enjoy St. Michaels during the weekdays, this time, We agreed to get a slip. We were pleasantly surprise with the email communication before We arrived; the Dockhand and Check-In Welcome; when We arrived; the Drone Picture Momento is something We have mounted in Our Cruise Log [truly, an AWESOME Surprise]; and, the on-site facilities and restaurants were EXCELLENT! This week's weather is impeccable to have chosen St. Michaels. We are so glad that St. Michaels Marina was available for Us. We will be back. Thanks for having Us.

Out of 100 plus marinas traveled in the past year. This is my favorite. From the dockside assistance, welcoming staff, and great location for walking around the lovely town. I’ll make sure I always make a stop here. Worth taking the C&D route just for this location.

Have passed by St Michael's for years cruising the Chesapeake so glad we made a stop here. Unfortunately we only stopped for one night but will definitely be back on our next voyage through the area. Mike the owner/manager was super nice/accommodating and dock staff Merritt was awesome.

The service was great; the deckhands were helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The manager was welcoming and proactive about offering services and making for a comfortable stay. Highlights included easy docking, fueling right there, and pumping out for waste was offered. I was a bit disappointed with the facilities. The pool is tiny and only goes to four feet. The bathrooms were clean, but a bit hard to find and my teenage daughter did not feel safe going behind the restaurant/bar to get to them at night. $183 for a 38' sailboat seemed expensive for one night's stay, but I am new to staying at marinas and this might be fair. The service was great, and the staff brought it up to four stars for me.

The city and marina deserve all the accolades they receive. This is a well-managed marina with a friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants and fun shopping are within blocks away. We cannot say enough about this picturesque community. Maggie and Bear, our two Goldens LOVED their morning walks. I wish we could have stayed longer, but alas ... there was no space, and, besides, it was someone else's turn to enjoy this special place. Thank you for your hospitality. Moon River.

My wife and I have made St. Michaels Marina our destination marina for over three years. Top notch service from the dockhands, office, and owner. So many examples of them going above and beyond that it's difficult to list. Examples: a ride to town when our batteries failed, golf-carting our parents to a local Inn, pictures of our boat every trip, having one of the dockhands rescue us with a ride back to the marina when we "over-purchased" goods from the stores in town, etc.. Facilities have always been clean and maintained. Lastly, we've met some amazing people who have also made this marina their home away from home. Looking forward to getting back!

Enjoyed the location. Very walkable town with shops and restaurants to choose from. Dock was in good shape; new bathrooms (need a code) and laundry. Dock hands very helpful and on A dock they have ability to fuel and pump out in slip which is handy.

Staff was awesome. Amenities are great and location is a home run.

Great place to stay! So helpful when we first arrived, and the thank you card left for us was a nice surprise! Only thing that could be better is the WiFi. But we’ll definitely be back!

Dock hand was very helpful. The Constitution of the dock is poor costing the price of the marina with pilings on the outside. The amenities were ok. But the older lady at the office was incredibly rude, told us last minute we had to leave before checkout time because the next boat was arriving. Didn't even walk over to ask nicely after of time. I don't know what the hype is about I would come here.

Very nice marina and excellent staff. The restaurants and personal facilities (shower and restroom) are clean and functional. The administration flew a drone, took a picture of our boat at the dock, printed the picture and put it on the boat in the evening. A very nice touch.

Anne gave us great service…. Glad the dockhands got to cleaning the docks….. winged visitors took their toll.

St Michaels Marina is terrific. Mike Morgan is an unbelievably gracious host. Our experience was fabulous - from the help getting into the dock , to the beautiful pool, to the clean rest rooms.

The marina is fantastic, close to all the action. Courtesy bikes were excellent. Rented a golf cart for 4 hours to become familiar with more than the down town. People and employees were friendly. Lots to do for such a small town. Rich M.

Best on the bay! The dockhands were great, very patient with us while we docked. Staff at check-in was great with us and the kids. The pool was the perfect temp and bathroom’s immaculate. They even helped us out getting a pack of water from town! We even were given a picture of our boat docked at the marina. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Great location in St. Michael’s, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, it’s expensive for transients, and the bathrooms/showers are too small to accommodate the number of marina visitors.

Nice and competent dock hands, clean restrooms, "passport" with all info about the marina and town, restaurants on premises, and we even got a free printed pic of our boat taken by their drone.

The deck hands are simply the best on the Bay. Extremely helpful, courteous and genuinely friendly. Great facilities easy walk to shops and restaurants.

Location is perfect, helpful staff. One minor note: the men's bathhouse showers need a redesign. They were poorly lit above the sinks, there was no dry place to sit or place dry clothing in privacy, and the towel hook locations got wet as well. And if someone opened the men's room door, the person changing would be in full view. The women's bathhouse did not have these issues.

Top shelf marina. WiFi, pool, clean bathhouse, dockhands and location are the best. Must stop if your traveling the Chesapeake.

Great marina in the heart of the town.

The team at St. Michaels Marina is TOP NOTCH! We arrived this past Thursday and stayed with them for 3 days. The service and hospitality was fantastic, Mike and his team (especially Sammy) went out of their way to take care of everything we needed. A beautiful welcome photo of our boat in a personalized Thank you card was given to us shortly after arrival and it was truly white glove service all weekend long. Thanks for such a great stay we will be back to St. Michaels soon!

Great staff ideal location

Great place! Unique small town atmosphere with lots of cool shops, eateries & ice couple ice cream stops. All walkable & close to Marina, easy entrance off main channel, stay between markers. Super helpful staff, nice showers, two washer/dryer laundry $2.75 wash/$2.50 dry. Fixed docks/ minimal tide swing. Courtesy car for provisioning. Fueling in slip. Nearby Easton has everything you need:Lowe’s, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Harris Teeter, West Marine.

I would have rated the marina a five star. The dock hand was great in helping us tie up and get settled. It was a relaxing 2 days at the marina. The only negative was there pumpout station wasn't working which was an inconvenience and quite surprising for a marina that is highly rated.

SMM is fantastic. Owner/Dock Aster Mike is very helpful and on top of all the details. Fueling up is EASY and the location is ideal. Don't think twice… just book uour slip here now. Enjoy St Mikes!

Family stayed in the early/off season. The marina faces East so the sunrise was spectacular. Clean facilities and Saint Michael's is gorgeous

We had a great weekend at the OysterFest and the marina was vary nice. The dockhand helping us into the slip was great and the marina putting us into a slip next to another family member was a treat. Price per night is a tad high for my liking but it will probably be even higher next year.

Awesome marina and dock team. If you are staying in St Michaels this should be your #1 marina. I have stayed at others in St Michaels and this is the best due to the following reasons. Location to town, Staff is outstanding (they know how to pamper you and also tie up your boat, seems basic, but don’t get this from a lot of marinas). Docks are clean and in great condition. The facility and amenities are a fantastic. And now that have added a drone shot of your boat. This is a great touch. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time at St. Michael’s marina this past weekend. Mike, Chris, Marin, and the other dockhands went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Mike made sure to pick up some bottled water at Walmart when we were running low for the dog!!— what great service was that?! Everything about our stay went very well and the attention to detail and service was impeccable! We will surely come again. The marina and its staff have never fail to be a positive experience. It is one of our “go-to” stops in the Chesapeake.

Beautiful setting, dock hands greeted us and got us (novice crew with me) squared away quickly and safely. Marina is clean, safe and well-staffed since quite a few transients. Dining and shopping close by so you can enjoy the beautiful town of St. Michaels.

The marina was great but you (Dockwa) never gave the proper info on our boat to the Marina - thus they almost didn't let us stay. You need to provide getter more comprehensive info to the marinas!!!!!
