Report Review

In March 2022 Eldean Shipyard painted the bottom of my boat and replaced the impeller for $ 1,950. I had a gallon of hull paint that matched my existing paint shipped to Steven the service manager because he could not guarantee a match. After I picked up my boat in April, I realized that the hull paint that was not used, was not in my boat. After calling Steven he sail he would ship the paint to my home. After about 4 weeks I called to see why I did not receive the paint. James the new service manager said he would look for the paint. He couldn't find it so he called Steven who said he had shipped the paint before he left his employment. James told me that since they claimed that the paint was shipped, that's all he could do. I told James that there should be a tracking # or proof of shipment, which they did not have. I then called Wade Eldean, the owner, to request a reimbursement of $ 90 for the missing paint. Mr. Eldean's repliy was that they have no responsibility for the paint. I definitely will not recommend Eldean Shipyard since they would not take responsibility for the paint and at least reimburse me for my loss. Customer service is apparently not important to them.
