Fantastic marina! Ashton and Lily are great on the docks, they sure know the ropes (pun intended!) Kyle in the office was so kind to hear all my stories of our journey from North Carolina, he’s a great resource for the area and Block Island, an all-around great guy and manager. Amazing views from the fire pit, pool and hot tub, pool is super clean, overlooks the water, fairly warm water (it’s Rhode Island, not Tahiti) and plenty of seating and grills. Nice clean bathhouse, big showers, good water pressure. There’s a neighborhood close by for running/walking. Can bike to towns like Tiverton. Bridgeport Fish market is maybe 3 miles, excellent selection and quality. Corner convenience store quarter mile away, walkable. Very social marina, made friends, home port events sounded like fun, can’t wait to return!!! Ten stars!

NoReportJust spent one day and night at this marina..great staff, extremely clean…we were having a diesel mechanic work on our boat…while he was working, I used the time to do laundry…great machines and cheap compared to Newport…while the washer was running, the manager invited me to sit in the lounge, where I was comfortable and dry, since it was a rainy day..will definitely be back…

NoReportSafe Harbor Sakonnett offered a relaxing two-day respite during our recent four-week cruise. The facility is first rate, as is the staff. The pool was an unexpected pleasurer. The marina's in a neighborhood and there's no local anything other than a modest convenience store, so be prepared.
We were back for a second year and the marina remains first rate. Groceries ordered from Stop & Shop came right to the marina, so no concerns for provisions. It’s a great stop if you’re cruising and need a do-nothing day or two.

NoReportWe needed service on our powerboat. Dave and his crew came to the mooring, picked up the boat in the pouring rain, transferred it to a great slip, completed the repairs and allowed us to use the slip a few days until we were able to get underway. Great place!

NoReportThis is a great marina with very friendly dock staff. About 5 of them came over to help us dock. The bathrooms were new and beautiful. Recently renovated. The entry to the marina (North yard) is a little tight especially at low tide. Beware of the tides if you have a sailboat and stay close to the docks as you round the winding channel. Everyone there seemed very friendly. The surrounding neighborhood is very cute and you can walk to a little convenience store for some quick supplies.

NoReportPulled into Safe Harbor Sakonnet after a very difficult trip for hours against a high wind on Buzzards Bay. The marina couldn't have been more helpful in guiding us there and then spending a lot of time with to help with docking and leaving, help with pump-out etc, fueling, etc. The facilities looked great too although we were too exhausted to do much. Highly recommended!
