I have been a customer at Meridian Marina for over a decade. Wouldn't ever think of going anywhere else. Tim Mullen has been nothing but polite and accomdating and will go over the top to provide great customer service. Friendly staff, always helpful. In reading the negative review, the one thin noticeable is that it is hard to believe someone would be asked to leave the marina. From my experience, if you were thrown out, there must have been a darn good reason.

STAY AWAY! STAY FAR AWAY! I stored my boat at Meridian Marina from July 2016 to November 2018. The marina is in foreclosure, Martin County public records case # 432017CA000770CAAXMX The owner, Tim Mullen has a history of theft, Martin County public records case # 432018CA000838CAAXMX Mullen has a hard time paying the collected sales taxes resulting in liens put on the marina. (county records) The facilities are in poor shape and the storage barn is rusting away. The roof on the barn leaks causing the framework to rust. The rust chunks drop all over your boat leaving stains. The sides of the barn remain unrepaired from the hurricane Matthew in 2016. It is pointless to think that your boat will be protected from the elements. There is no fuel to be had, the service manager has been fired and the owner, Tim Mullen has a FU attitude. When I last used my boat on March 31st 2018, I took extra time to wash, wax and prepare the boat for an extended stay. The condition of the boat was immaculate, only having 49 hours on the 2-year-old boat. On Saturday November 24th, 2018 I requested that my boat be put on a rack for inspection and cleaning. I arrived to find my boat in deplorable condition with chunks of rust all over it and numerous stains from the rust. Even more disconcerting were the numerous fresh scratches I found in the gelcoat and decals on the boat. Immediately, I made the dockhand and forklift driver aware of the situation and they said Tim would call me. With no call on Monday the 26th, I went to the marina and spoke with Bill Hernandez, the service manager and he said he would meet with Tim and advise. Would I send him pictures? I sent the pictures….no call back. On Thursday the 29th I went to the marina to find out that Bill had been fired. I waited to speak with Tim. This is where he denied any responsibility and told me to go F myself. As things were spiraling downward, I requested that he refund the balance of my prepaid storage fees as I annually prepaid for storage on a monthly basis. He has refused to issue a refund of the balance of $1458.43. I am out the money and have a damaged boat…. Don’t let this happen to you. BTW I have been boating for 42 years and know how to tie up a boat

Marina Response:
This customer's name is Mr. Goodman. He was asked to leave the marina after repeatedly using foul language and abusing my staff, namely the Service Manager, Bill, who continues to enjoy employment after many years. Mr. Goodman's damage to his boat could not have been done by the marina, but only through his own efforts by tying the boat up to a dock. Further, the marina is going through an exciting renovation time and all boats are safe and secure during this process. Mr. Goodman's attempt to bully us on the internet using foul language and abusive behavior have left us only one choice, and that is to ask him to leave. Meridian Marina has never, or will it ever, take a customer service attitude as he claims. Tim Mullen.

The guy who runs the place won't hesitate to steal your money then disappear for a week. Just ask the guy who Tim (owner) recently still $50,000 from. He doesn't care about you, his business, or his employees.
