Moorings are in the middle is the inner harbor. Gloucester is a working harbor so if you plan to sleep in, you should bring ear plugs because fishermen are up early. It is a no wake zone and protected so it’s calm. Launch service is complimentary with the mooring and responsive. Recommend going to the Beauport hotel for dinner - 10 minute walk from the town dock or you can ask them to drop you at St Peter Square and it’s a 3 minute walk. Been here twice and enjoy it.
