Portage Point Resort

It is a smooth reservation process. And, the Harbor master, Duncan, is very helpful. His communication is very helpful.

Everything was perfect!

It was a nice stop for two nights to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub. Onekama is about 4 miles around the lake with 4-5 places to eat. The resort restaurant has a very limited schedule and we were not able to get ice. Nice showers by the pool.

Quiet, peaceful. Hope to see the renovations in near future. Water clear. Near Lake MI entrance. Although a bit of a walk to main building, the shower/toilet facilities were private and luxurious. Pool looked amazing. Shuffle board courts, clean sandy beach. Gorgeous lush green manicured lawns. No restaurant open on day of our visit.

True hidden gem. There are nice amenities but they're a bit of ways from the slips themselves. Portage Lake is clean and clear.

We love this place for our annual getaway from reality (work) and will be back again next summer and many more to come! Thank you for a setting that helps us relax and enjoy life!

Resort, staff and marina were great... They have no ice "available" for guest besides in drinks from the bar! The big white commercial ice box full of bagged ice, is not for resale. Closest place for ice is across the lake we were told...convenient!

Very nice and peaceful stay. Everyone was very nice and the spring fed Portage Lake was picturesque. Look forward to going there again!

Dunkin and crew could not have been more accommodating.

All amenities were all closed (cafe, bar etc..). We couldn’t even purchase ice. Bath facilities are far from the docks. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the bathroom facilities were very clean! It was one of our most expensive dock fees and if we would have known everything was closed during the week we probably would have picked a different day to visit this marina.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great bathroom and shower. Very quiet in evening and overnight. Slips are challenging to enter and depart.

Duncan and assistant met us at the dock….friendly and very helpful. The entire marina lost power. With that happening we had no electricity or air conditioning on our boat. I hope that there will be an adjustment in our dockage fees. Otherwise, great place

The docks need some work half the boards are missing on the outside mane docks we broke one line from the wake out front. Some boaters don't care about no wake signs. We love the marina always nice place to meet up with friends.

Excellent place to stay, no slip big enough for a 65. We tied up along the wall, a little rough during the day from boats. Nice pool.

Marina is on awesome Portage Lake with great access to Lake Michigan and the beaches!! The band “The Flying Toasters” played….best band anywhere!!! Utility hook ups were excellent. Definite place to stop

Staff is incredibly helpful and gracious! Shower facilities are excellent, and the grounds are jua amazing. We will 100% return in the future, excellent stay.

The facility is is serious disrepair. The buildings all look abandoned and I'll maintained. I'm sure it was an amazing place 30 years ago but has not been maintained. A simple power washing of the buildings and some paint would go a long ways. The pool is pretty nice but can't overcome the rest. It's worth visiting but for 1 night as there is nothing to do around it.

Stay was great, just be aware that the bar/pub and Cafe are closed Monday-Wednesday. Everything else was great!!

Always a great stay! We love everything about this great resort and marina. Great Staff, great food, great pool and hot tub. Walking distance to the beach. The only negative is the marina needs the sea wall rebuilt to deflect the wake from all ski boats or other larger vessels. Thanks again for a great stay! Capn Travo

If you are looking for an actual getaway from the hustle and bustle, here is your place! Very quiet and remote location. As long as you provision ahead of time, it will be a very peaceful and enjoyable visit.
