We have high flow fuel dispensers, pump-out, wifi, cable TV, shower facilities, laundry facilities, and a pool. If you’re looking for something to eat, there is a restaurant within walking distance and more in surrounding areas. If you draw over 5 feet, please be advised that the ICW has been running extremely low at times and we cannot be responsible for damage if you come when the river is low. So please check the tides and river height.
Great stay, helpful and friendly hands when needed. Internet good. Enjoyed dinner onsite with excellent live music!
The folks there are very helpful. They put my 57 foot boat on the face dock, which was better than one might have expected. No really bad motion from passing wakes. The only real issues were that Uber couldn't figure out where to pick us up. We went across the canal to one of the restaurants at Barefoot Landing for dinner, and that required an Uber ride. Two of the Uber drivers we dealt with came to one side of the bar, the third to the other side. It has to do with passing through a gate that controlled access to some parts of the complex.
Very nice facility. Solid, floating docks. Restaurant at marina fun and worthwhile. All the other restaurants on the other side of the ICW so longish walk, dinghy ride or Rideshare. Only caveat: Don't have anything mailed there. They are not set up for it and three of my Amazon packages were never found.
Nice facility. Long walk or Uber ride to anything. Great staff. Onsite restaurant is good. Wifi is basically unusable.
Dock hands on dock through open hours. Very willing to help with whatever is needed. Secure gated dockage with nice reasonable priced bar / grille on site. Lots to do by walking over bridge( 20 minute) to a nice shopping and eating locations . Also has large live band venue. Fireworks weekly in summer . Pump out and fuel are easy to access.
Great marina. Close to almost everything you need. Friendly staff, secure docks, restaurant. Even had fireworks across the river on our last night!
Bathrooms need updating, otherwise nice staff and comfortable dock within walking distance to restaurants
Excellent marina, very nice restaurant. Anthony the dock attendant was extremely helpful with docking and undocking. I highly recommend.
Professional dock help, strong internet and a nice bar/restaurant at the top of the dock.
Stopped for one just one night and everything was great. Staff was very helpful and efficient at getting us docked and checked in. And we had a great meal at the Marina Bar & Grill.
Wonderful marina! The staff is top notch, bathrooms clean and have room for all bathroom essentials. Restaurant happy hour is good. Wish we had time to go to the pool.
Love the staff. Very clean restrooms with private showers. Would love to see them have a shuttle to shopping across the ICW
Excellent, friendly and responsive dock handling and support staff. Facility is in excellent shape, with multiple restaurants in walking distance. Good bathrooms and showers. Quiet marina with no wake. Very pleasant evening. We look forward to returning soon!
The dock crew were extremely friendly and helpful, the marina facilities were excellent , and the location in North Myrtle Beach was fantastic.
Great location/Great staff who were very helpful! Nice marina/sports bar restaurant with great food!
Nice marina new floating docks. Had a nice side tie. Not to near much. Local taxi took us to the supermarket about 2miles away. Restaurant was good
Been two years since I’ve been here, big changes. New mgmt, new rules. Such as-no boat shorter than 50’ can do a side-tie on outer long dock. Presented a problem, depth and current were challenging. Staff are friendly but inexperienced on depth/current conditions. Marina is well maintained, easy walk to local restaurant and general walking in the area. Price for transient very reasonable.
Very nice Marina! Nice location, super friendly and helpful dockhands! Marina Grille was good too! We will stay again.
We stayed one night on our trip north. We got an easy tie up on the south face dock with help from the friendly dock master (Tim) who had called earlier to confirm our time of arrival. Solid modern floating docks with large cleats, stable electric power and great water pressure. Then had a good lunch at the on-site restaurant. A pleasant restful stop.
Facilities were great, and Joel provided excellent service. Restaurant was convenient, food was good and beer was cold. Only downside was very high diesel pricing.
Fantastic people with excellent customer service. I’m a sail boat guy so typically I prefer to anchor an feel a bit guilty spending money on a marina stop. Zero regret stopping here!
Courteous, professional and efficient staff. Very friendly place and within an easy walk across the bridge to shops and entertainment.
Great Marina, clean, all facilities work. The staff is more than friendly, they actually show they care. We love coming here!!
The marina is pleasant and efficiently run. I was disappointed in the marina bar and grill. I was the only one wearing a mask, and there was no social distancing.
Marina staff was great. Restuarant was very good. Fuel price was over a dollar more than surrounding marinas.
This is a fantastic little gem on the ICW, and coming off the quieter stretches to the north and south, a great location for a good time and some fun people watching. The face dock was easy on and off, and the dock hands are extremely good at their job managing a busy marina. They do rent water sports off the same dock so jet skis and pontoons are all over, but they have a strict no wake and there is a guy on his own jet ski who’s job it appeared was to organize the chaos and enforce the no wake zone. It’s free entertainment to say the least, and we were never bothered by it. The facilities were fine but the other amenities are the draw - there is an enormous gorgeous pool, top of the line golf courses and a great little seafood bar/restaurant with a pool table, cornhole and live music all right there at the top of the dock. If you feel like taking your dingy out or a slightly longer walk across the bridge, you can skip across the water to the barefoot landing which is loaded with even more stuff to do. It’s a really fun area and they’ve put a lot into it since we were there a couple years back. Well worth the stop. The Witch of Endor, Marine Trader 38’
Great stop-over on the ICW. Easy-in, easy-out. Staff was top-notch as was the ski-doo rental guys next to our slip. Myrtle Beach is a busy place, not our speed; but if you need a good stop-over spot...this is a good place.
The marina was great and Tim the dock master was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and the restaurant and bar had great food.
Always enjoy staying here. Great marina with nice facilities. Tim is always polite and goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of and comfortable. Looking forward to returning. Roberto Kadey Krogen 48' Gratitude
Great spot. Very nice staff. Had to stay there a few extra days because of a bridge closure, they were very accommodating. Definitely stop there again.
Caution to boats with draft over 5.5ft. Their claim to 7ft dockside depth is not true. We draw 6.5ft and stayed on their outer dock adjacent to the fuel dock. We grounded near the south entrance on our way into the dock at 1.3 tide and had to change our approach to get dockside. We were hard aground over night with a .3 low tide and had to depart earlier than planned the next morning to avoid being stuck for several hours around our desired departure time. Depth sounding indicates a 5.8ft dockside depth at a 0 tide. We will not be back for this reason. The dock help was nice and our stay was otherwise good.
Always an excellent stay...Timmy and crew are the Best! Even during Covid, restaurant had wonderful take out. Always great service and warm welcome!
Harassed by locals on the transient dock for wanting to adhere to social distancing. They called a gathering specifically to our boat area over VHF and verbally attacked us when coming into our own cockpit for an item. Many were 2-3 feet from our boat. We had to close all windows and not use our cockpit. 10-12 people gathered for several hours and made constant boisterous comments about us and our desire to social distance. I was stunned by the behavior of a group of adult bullys. Just shocking.
Very accommodating always friendly service. Slip holders also friendly and helpful to transients.
GREAT DOCKING HELP. ONE OF THE FEW MARINA IN THE LITTLE RIVER, SC TO TAKE IN TRANSIENTS. NICE FACILITY AND I'M SURE WHEN THE VIRUS DISAPPEARS THE PLACE WILL ROCK AGAIN!
Excellent service. Nice clean facilities. Polite and friendly staff.
This marina is a convent stop on the ICW, easy approach and docking. Spotless facilities, great restaurant and Tim the Dockmaster was very friendly & helpful. We will return.
Staff very helpful. Good (take out) food from on site restaurant.
Nice facility with a friendly Dockmaster. Stayed during the corona virus lock down so did not get off the boat.
Very easy to deal with. Very positive folks, ready to help and make your coming and going as convenient as possible. Will stay again whenever we transit south. Easy access and tie up.
1/10/2020 Reservations were required through Dockwa which I had never used. The marina staff set it up and met us at the dock at 4:15PM. Face dock with minimal current for easy in easy out. Courteous, efficient and Tim was able to arrange a ride to the local hardware store before they closed at 5PM. Codes for the dock and restrooms provided safety. The restrooms were clean but I did not use the shower so no review there. We had planned to cook on the boat but the grill had great happy hour food specials so we ate there. (4-8pm) live music and an outdoor fire.
Staff is super. Tim and Randy we so helpful and always asking if we needed help with anything.
Convenient location, knowledgable and efficient dock hands, cement floating docks are all a plus. Since I'm a smaller vessel, the bath, shower room condition is in terrible. Pleanty big, but no hooks for clothes, no mirrors, nothing to hold soap/shampoo in the shower. Only the floor. Only one ladies shower, only one of two mens shower functional. A small investement and common sense will improve them tremendously. You need to benchmark Southport Marina (less) and Osprey Marina (1/2 the money) to learn what the customer need. The biggest nail in the coffin is the mandatory use of Dockwa. My first and last time once reading the cancellation and billing policy.
Easy in, easy out. Terrific floating docks, solid power and warm hospitality from dockmaster Tim. On site restaurant was decent and a nice convenience. Plenty of room to roam for your four legged friend (when we visited in November our pup picked up lots of burrs in the grass so beware).
Tim and his helper couldn’t have been more informative or helpful. A very nice marina with easy access to Barefoot Landing!
Just wished they would have mentioned that the restrooms and laundry would be inoperable during our stay.
