At dawn most days you can usually count on two things on Bear Creek in Dundalk, Maryland: the calm of the water as the sun rises and the barrage of activity at Anchor Bay East Marina. The family-owned marina was founded 28 years ago this July, by Art and Tina Cox. With the help of their children, parents, brothers and sister, they have established and grown a successful full service marina.
The Cox's have focused on making Anchor Bay East Marina more than a place to service and store your boat. Over the years they have added many amenities including a dock bar and restaurant.
With year-round and transient slips available we hope you visit us very soon!!
Great boat yard service and great restaurant / bar at the Hard Yacht Cafe. Owners and staff are very professional, helpful and responsive. And live music 7 days a week at the Hard Yacht.
Everyone is very helpful and accomodating. Restaurant is great. The only negative which would not deter us are the number of dead fish parts in the marina waters. Wish the fisherman would dispose of their remnants further out.
This place is a class act. Art and his entire staff are true professionals. During the week of July 4th, this year Art helped my wife and I and friends of ours by making time in his busy schedule to repair some mechanical issues on two boats that developed on our trip from New Jersey to Baltimore and points south. He offered us overnight accommodations if needed, awesome food, a pleasant restaurant and had us back underway within 1.5 hours of our arrival. We will make it a point to visit Anchor Bay East again. Everyone there was friendly and upbeat. I would recommend their service shop to anyone. Not to mention the "Big Ass Steak Special", truly great! I wish we had someone like him and a marina like his in New Jersey. Thanks again Art!
