We really enjoyed our stay at Fairview mark and Kim and family very helpful clean and restaurant very good
This is a magnificent marina. The grounds are beautiful, with plantings and white stone. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful
Thank you Mark, Jake and the entire staff at Fairview. The marina was able to handle our 43’ catamaran as a week long transient stay. The facility was first rate, the staff were very helpful and marina is in a very protected cove. Easy access to BWI Amtrak, making this a great place to drop off or pick up crew.
Our stay could not have been better. Kim and Marc are the best. Family owned, clean, great facilities. We would definitely stay here again. thanks for a great stay.
We loved our stay at this family run marina. They were at the dock to meet us when we arrived and helped with dock lines, shore cord, etc. It is a beautiful peaceful location and very quiet. Only 20 minutes from BWI if you are flying in or out like we did. Great location. Will return again next year.
Fairview is clean, neat and quiet. $1.50ft is a fair price to tie a boat up for the night. Other marinas charging more should realize that you could get a hotel room with a big screen TV for what some charge.
Stayed here, and left the boat here for a few days, on trip up the coast from Florida to Maine via the Chesapeake. Wonderful protected family owned marina, very convenient to BWI airport (15-20 minutes by Uber, taxi, or they will help you get a car service). Didn't have any work done, but I'm confident Marc and Jacob would have been able to do any repairs needed. Highly recommended.
We could only give 5 stars because the scale doesn't go to 6. This marina has everything you would expect at any good marina but what makes Fairview so exceptional is their service and repair capabilities. Marc and his son Jacob can fix ANYTHING on any type of boat. Their knowledge and expertise is extensive and they take great pride in their work. And when they work with outside contractors they only call the best. We had a very large collision (someone dragged anchor into us) that wrecked our pulpit, lifelines, stanchions, shrouds, teak cap rail and holed the cabin top. All of the repairs were completed on time, on budget and look factory finished. Marc perfectly matched 17 year-old gelcoat. And not satisfied with any potential leak or weakness, he and Jacob re-bedded the chainplates and Genoa track just in case. All within budget. We had air conditioning installed while other repairs were being done and the cabinetry work covering the ducting looks like it came straight from the factory. Marc and Jacob are perfectionists and the results show it. It's a friendly place to tie up and if you’re really lucky you’ll be there when Marc cooks up a specialty meal. Strongly recommended Bruce (Skip) Walker and Marlene Elman s/v Splash of Water Island Packet 420
The owners and staff at this marina love boats. We had a simple economical bottom paint job done recently and the extent and results exceeded our expectations, all within the quoted price. And, without asking, a lot of free advise on how to keep the boat in shape. On time, on price, more complete than we expected. Can't ask for anything better.
