Report Review

Pistakee Marina is hands-down the best spot on the Chain O’Lakes—where the boats are pampered more than I am at home! First off, the staff? Amazing. These folks are the kind of people who could probably fix your boat *and* make you a killer cup of coffee at the same time. They’re always smiling, even when I ask a thousand ridiculous questions, like, “Do fish know we’re watching them from up here?” The slips are spacious, which is important because my parking skills on land are questionable at best—and on water? Let’s just say I’ve been “that boater” more times than I’d like to admit. Thankfully, no judgment here! And the docks? Solid enough that even my clumsy self hasn’t managed to fall in yet. Speaking of the Chain O’Lakes, Pistakee Marina is perfectly positioned for all your boating shenanigans. Whether you’re looking to catch some fish, race your friends, or just float lazily while pretending to be productive, this is *the spot*. Plus, they offer outdoor storage for boats and RVs, which is great because my garage is already full of my “must-have” gadgets I never use. Oh, and the community here? It’s like Cheers—but on water. Everyone knows your name, or at least the name of your boat, which is close enough. You’ll make friends faster than you can say “anchor’s away.” The marina has this family-friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome, whether you’re wrangling kids, pets, or just trying to adult for the day. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy the view, and wonder why you ever considered going anywhere else. Bottom line: Pistakee Marina is the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and just the right amount of chaos (looking at you, weekend boat traffic). If you’re not docking here, you’re seriously missing out. But fair warning—once you do, you may never want to leave. And honestly, why would you? Boats, friendly people, and all the sunshine you can soak up? Yeah, I’m hooked. P.S. If anyone asks, the reason my boat’s always clean now is totally me... and not the marina staff who are basically miracle workers.
