This mooring is located in Cotuit Bay. Within the Cotuit Town Dock mooring area.
The mooring has access to the Cotuit Launch service VHF 68 (operational hours depend on the day). The Cotuit Launch is a privately run service and a fee is required for usage (fee not set by the Town of Barnstable).
Harbormaster staff is not on location 24/7. You can request assistance and we will respond if available VHF09 or 508-790-6273.
Mooring(s) are labeled with an orange stripe on the mooring ball for an easy visual upon approach. No other moorings have orange stripes accept for Transient moorings.
RT/40: Located just South of the Fairway, 3 moorings in from the outside of field (41'36.79717N, 70'25.86086W) LT/299: Located just North of the Fairway, outside of field (41'36.812N, 70'25.783W)
The usage of this mooring is by reservation only. Requesting certain moorings is available when booking however, not guaranteed. Locations are determined by the Harbormaster office based on vessel size and swing room.
There is a pump-out boat in this area if you need assistance Clean Vessel Act services. Harbor staff if available, can be reached on VHF09.
Small vessel storage (dingy storage) is available for temporary tie up only (no overnight dockage). Someone must stay with the small vessel at all times. The Cotuit Town Dock is open to the public for temporary tie up and has access to fresh water. Vessels cannot be left tied to the Cotuit Town Dock unattended and this location is for loading/unloading only.

Easy to find mooring with the coordinates. Great location close to town dock as well as the sound. Thanks for a great stay!
There was no one available on Channel 9 to provide mooring assignment when we arrived around 5:45pm and launch driver who works for a different company didn’t have the information to assist. We just picked up an available guest mooring.
Great place to put your boat. Easy access to Nantucket sound. Seasonal shuttle service to and from boat.
Great mooring and gear. I was the first to use it since drop in. Could use to have zip ties removed before assigning
It was very good. Very quiet and what I was looking for but not much in walking distance. At least that I could find.
Great experience. I had some challenges finding the mooring, 100% attributed to my sub-par navigation skills. I contacted the number on the app and the town contact texted me pictures and walked me through the exact location. Super friendly staff and a great spot to moor at and explore.
