Beautiful location and nice facility, however, we never saw or heard from a single staff member during our 3 night stay. Initial response was quick and we were assigned a slip number through a Dockwa message. When we arrived, we hailed on the radio, called two phone numbers, but got no response. Our assigned slip was occupied, so we had to take up the only available side tie slips right next to the laundry. Thankfully, there were several patrons (including those who were double booked with us) who all jumped in to help us with the dock lines as it was gusting close to 40 kts when we arrived. All confirmed that they rarely saw any employees on site. We understood it was a Sunday, and some small marinas like this do not always have staff available, but a heads up when we received the slip assignment message would have been appreciated.
I sent a message back through Dockwa telling them where we tied up, but never got a response. Since we were getting off the boat for a few days it didn't matter that we didn't get the bathroom or wifi codes. Again, the other patrons were more than willing to help us out, but really....a 3 night stay with absolutely no contact?? I'll give 3 stars because this is a nice, very protected spot, and we are very self sufficient, but can't give more due to lack of any communication with staff or owners.
