Eau Gallie |
The Eau Gallie Yacht basin has been providing dockage and services to boaters since 1896. Located on the West side of the ICW on the beautiful Eau Gallie River (formerly named the Elbow Creek) in the historic Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne. There are 60 modern slips accommodating boats to 65 plus feet.
Had another excellent stay, already booked our next trip!
This is a beautiful marina with very helpful staff. Easy walk into town to some great restaurants. A perfect location.
This was a lovely little surprise after staying at a few of the big, impersonal marinas! Nothing fancy, it welcomes socializing with two outdoor gathering places for boaters and one comfy indoor lounge. Lovely restrooms all decked out for the holidays. Great rates! Cute little town within easy walking distance that has a well stocked hardware store.
A hidden gem! Old Florida style marina with the friendliest staff you will ever meet. Clean bathrooms & showers, laundry & cute boater’s lounge. Easy walking distance to shops & several restaurants. Grassy area for pet relief steps from dock. Excellent canvas shop on site! The entry is snug but we were able to get in safely with our 25’ beam. Highly recommend this lovely place!!
Nice marina. Excellent showers and bathrooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is easy walking distance to town with lots of restaurants to choose from! Eau Gallie Yacht Basin is on our "stay again" list! Thanks Mike!
Beyond FANTASTIC!!!! The marina is in the most beautiful setting. Truly a hidden gem. Owner, staff and other boaters are great. Will return and refer. A must!!!!! 12/1/24 Second stay there and 10 stars. Awesome please and owner. Have referred prior and will continue to
Thanks Mike for a wonderful stay with you. It never happens that the owner will personally come out to help you tie up your boat. We loved your marina and the cozy spot that you’re in. We will definitely be back on our way back up in the spring. This marina is close to many restaurants as well as the Intracoastal Brewery.
What a cool place. Michael has done a great job making the place feel like home. We met some very nice people as well. I hesitate to write a review because I don’t want everyone to know about this gem
the place is perfect, very quiet, good service, super good restaurant,
I love this place!!! Home away from home
It's a hidden gem. We didn't know this place until we had to take shelter from Hurricane Helene. The marina is pretty protected in a good neighborhood. A lot of restaurants and shops (including Ace hardware) within walking distance. But no grocery stores nearby. Good community in the marina as we got most information from the liveaboard people, not from the staff.
Very helpful short stay came out help me with where to go and tie off will call them again
Hidden gem of the ICW. Wonderful place
It's a hurricane hole. Well managed. Clean.
Mike was very accommodating to our needs. We will return again!
This place is like a little slice of some northeastern Americana someone picked up and dropped just off the ICW in Southern Florida. Tucked away about one nautical mile from the river, it's sheltered from the wind and the currents are negligible. Mike, the owner, met us at the dock, helped us tie up, and told us about some of the history—they've been there since 1896, and some of the old signage is up in various places as decoration. It's funny to see some of the rates for dockage back then... He recommended an Irish Pub up in town - which is a very short walk away and we absolutely loved the food and the live entertainment of a small four-piece ensemble doing Irish music. They have an outdoor kitchen and social area, and the liveaboards hang out there in the evenings. The bathrooms are clean and air-conditioned, the showers are immaculate, and it's tranquil and serene at night. 100% recommended.
Delightful little well protected marina in a park like setting. We were arriving late so the own texted us his cellphone to let him know when we were coming in so he could meet us, help with lines and tell us about the marina and town. We would love to have been able to spend more time, but had to get moving first thing in the am. Would definitely recommend as a delightful stop.
Absolutely loved this marina. It was very laid back and had that New Englund Vibe. Would definitely stay here again
Great people around, beautiful surroundings. Everything great.
We enjoyed our stay at this small marina. Very nice people and a laid back atmosphere. The town is within walking distance and the Irish Pub has great food. Many arts and craft shops, and the town history is interesting. We had enough to do for the two days we stayed here, and would go back.
The is marina is fantastic. They have everything you could want and more. The owner is super nice and the surrounding area is beautiful. Fun Brewery only .5 mile away to walk to. I will stay here again.
Mike, the owner met us at the dock and helped secure us for the night. He gave directions and recommendations for local restaurants. Marina is small and "tight" but very calm and protected....almost zero tide. Excellent facilities, rest rooms, showers, laundry and a nice lounge. Also has a nice outdoor space with fire pit, chairs and tables. Ended up staying another night due to windy weather. Great place!
Low key, but professional service. Easy walking distance to restaurants.
This was the first time we’ve stopped in Eau Gallie after multiple trips up and down the ICW. Can’t believe we missed this place before. The little town is really relaxed and eclectic. And the marina is the same. We won’t miss it on our next trip back down.
They are always so nice there. Little bitty marina with a big heart. Great restaurants close by as well.
We always enjoy stopping here on our way down the ICW. Friendly and helpful staff, clean bathrooms and conveniently located to restaurants and interesting shops. However, on our return trip, although notifying them repeatedly of a 40' draft, they scheduled me for a very shallow slip. When approaching my engines started to churn up the bottom. They stated they had no other slip available, so I cancelled. Approximately 45 minutes later I received a call that someone had left and there was a slip available. Too late already confirmed an excellent slip in Titusville city marina instead.
This was a small, peaceful, protected marina. Good shower and bathroom facility with cookout area and community fire pit area available. Electric included in slip fee price - which after tax came to $1.87/ft. Good stop on the ICW.
Great staff, older facility but everything worked
Mike met us as we pulled in and helped secure us to the dock. He also told us about the town and made suggestions for restaurants in the area. The marina had a pot luck on Wednesday and we werer included. Wonderful, friendly people.
Great little yacht basin clean modern bathrooms nice boaters lounge lots to do in walking distance highly recommended
We kept our sailboat there for almost four years and lived aboard during part of that time. It was a great experience. Mike is a great host.
Knew I was arriving late, called ahead and they welcomed me in this well protected little marina.
Beautiful spot-cute town and great welcome from owner Mike!
Nice clean little marina! Everything neat, tidy and clean. Fire pit for coolish night. Town with lots of good restaurant choices within walking distance.
Super friendly nice vibe homey and clean and pleasant.
Mike the owner was awesome. We needed to stay an extra day to wait out weather and he made sure we had a spot even though his reservations were full. Nice place to meet other cruisers with indoor and outdoor seating areas.
What a great little hidden gem! This place dates back to the 1800’s and has lots of old Florida Charm.
Very sheltered and quiet great people Very near (walking) to restaurants Will come back!
Loved this sweet (very) little marina. Very friendly. Very clean restrooms. Great neighborhood. Great price.
Small, charming stop with very accommodating staff. Short walk to a vibrant arts community town. Will be back!
Great place. Very friendly, welcoming.
We had great 3 days. Quick reply on Dockwa app. Accommodated our size boat, 35x20, water, electric, clean bathrooms, laundry, walking distance to great restaurants, what else can one want. Mike, the owner, is making great improvements to the marina and the locals really enjoy and take great care of it.
What a great little marina! The owners are friendly, responsive and welcoming and the other boaters were also friendly. We enjoyed wandering around the town and would highly recommend this marina for short or long stays.
It is a nice marina though somewhat cramped. I have a 55' trawler and we were the second boat in on most of a week stay. Three days had a catamaran at the outside dock severely limiting departure space which the dockmaster to his credit came out and helped. The bathroom are nice, the laundry only OK, power no problems. The town of Eau Gallie is only a short walk away. Overall a good stay.
Best hidden gem of a marina!!! We will be back.
Magical little gem, protected cove with dolphins jumping all over the place! The staff and live abords are super friendly.terrific location with short walk to bars, restaurants, and shopping. Very well run marina and one of our favorite stops. Will be back!!!
EGY Marina is one of the oldest marina's in Florida. Due to its central location and that location is a well protected safe harbor for the weary traveler. While fairly small, it has very friendly and social residents. What it lacks in marina services and fuel docks, it rocks in friendliness and culture. Within walking distance of Melbournes best arts and culture district.
Best place to stop over for a night or a month: great shelter in the Eau Gallie River just off the ICW channel. Clear, well marked approach. The marina is next to the Eau Gallie Art District, where you can shop, eat,and walk through the well-lit streets of the neighborhood. Highly recommended to all cruisers.
Small marina with friendly staff. It is a beautiful town with restaurants and shops within walking distance of this marina. One washer/dryer and two showers/bathrooms on site were clean. Docking is tight but we had lots of help with the lines.
Quiet harbor. Nice people. Nice facilities. You can walk to town.
Lovely little marina and wonderful people there. Mike was a real help and very gracious!
Nice marina and nice people.
Nice marina. Well cared for. Staff was helpful. Laundry and showers good. Good resturants within walking distance.
Wonderful little marina!
Very nice marina with helpful staff. Restrooms were very clean and laundry was a fair price. Easy walk to the town of Eau Gallie, a charming community.
Nice people. Clean.
We're a 53' LOA sailing monohull, and Eau Gallie Yacht Basin was a fantastic spot to hide from big weather and get repairs done in prep for our Bahamas crossing. It's *super* protected from all directions, and the community at the marina is great. Mike, Dave, Karen, and Pedro take great care of the place, and the long-term slip holders are super friendly to transients. Be sure to show up for Wednesday night pot luck!
Nice small marina with nice staff. We recommend it highly. 53’ Krogen Express. We stay on the wall and it was well protected. No current
We love Eau Gallie, both the marina and the town. No better place in a blow. Facilities are fine.
I thank my lucky stars that when engine problems cropped up, they did so right near EGYB. Mike was kind enough to squeeze us in and then he pointed us to Jon, who did great work for an affordable rate. Great facilities; great location with good food (including a good brewery) and Ace Hardware in walking distance; and more importantly, great people. They don't make 'em like EGYB anymore.
We wish we had time to stay more than a night. Everyone was so nice! Upon arriving we were immediately invited to the weekly potluck. A very tucked away sweet marina! Great restaurants within a short nice neighborhood walk. Thanks so much for a lovely stay! We hope to see you again!
Great place. Great people Loved it. Highly recommended
This was our 4th stay at Eau Gallie Yacht Basin. Always a favorite stop on the ICW. Dockmaster Mike is helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. Good restaurants, Ace Hardware and our favorite, Intracoastal Brewing Company all within easy walking distance.
Very courteous! They stayed past their closing time to help us dock our boat. They also let us stay past our check out time, so that we could run to town to pick up boat parts that we had to special order and drop ship to a parts store in town, while we were passing through on the ICW. Thank you Eau Gallie Yacht Basin for your fine customer service, hot showers, laundry facilities and amenities. It is very much appreciated. Captain Carrieann~ Blue Water Boat Delivery
This is a great place to stay when transiting through the area. We were heading south from Titusville which made it a good run. We followed Navionics which brought us right into the harbor. Our 46’ H460 had no issues in the channel. The marina is very sheltered from the wind in all directions. The docks are in great condition and the restrooms are clean We found several eating options within a short walk. We will use this marina again in the future.
Wonderful location, great staff. We enjoyed our stay!
Small marina in SUPER sheltered harbor. Very friendly staff. Nice bathrooms, laundry and lounge areas. Plus firepit and outdoor kitchen! Will definitely stop here again! Call them on the phone e to reach them, or email.
We had a terrific stay at this historic marina. The owner has been making updates, and everything is in very good condition. Friendly staff, beautiful spot, and welcoming locals. Restaurants, galleries, marine supplies in walking distance. 2 miles over the bridge to groceries. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful little Marina. Kind of a throwback to an earlier time . Wonderful owner and staff who helped with docking . Clean bathroom and showers . No fuel .
Great little marina that is very protected staff was very helpful getting tied up to the dock. Will always choose this marina when in the area and will be back again
We just left our new fav marina. Great weather protection in a yacht basin, in-slip pumpout, clean showers and nice laundry facilities as well. Awesome downtown arts community with nice bars and restaurants, all very fair priced. Very chill owners and locals. Next stay will be longer
Eau Gallie Marina provided us with a safe and comfortable place to sit out a big storm. It was easy to access and in close walking distance to several restaurants. Facilities, including restrooms, showers, laundry, and lounge were clean & modern. We were even able to watch the championship football game in their lounge. Owner Mike and his staff were friendly and helpful, but they also left us alone when we didn't need any help. It is a very nice marina. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
Great place to stay, Bathrooms were. vary clean, you can have a campfire, Gas grill to use and a real nice boater's lounge! A great place to stay a week or month, maybe a year? Stores and entertainment are in walking distance,
Great spot to stop very clean and the owner was super friendly. Very historic will a great location to downtown. Definitely worth a stop to check out the ace hardware building it’s in. Really cool architecture. Will definitely be back
Felt like home! Owner came back to make sure we had everything we needed.
Eau Gallie was a perfect stop for me; I had to leave the boat for nearly three weeks. The marina is protected, owner is a constant presence as is his primary staff member. Small marina, which suited me, good people, and great Christmas decorations!
Friendly marina, owner, staff and slip holders. Facility is old but good enough. The inside slips are very well protected from weather. The part of town is quirky and that is good. I would come back
Love it! A real gem. Great staff and everyone is so friendly. We are hoping to get a long term dock here!
Eau Gallie is one of those beautiful little Marinas that leave you wondering how you ever missed it. Great spot.
Nice quiet little marina. 0.5 mi walk to town through quiet neighborhood with a few nice restaurants. Art District has several neat shops. Great and friiendly support from staff. We were only transient and for a 45’ LOA, the only one they have room for. Avg facilities, but saw a few ants crawling in both bathrooms.
From the owner, to the staff, to all the fellow boaters, everyone at the marina was extremely friendly and helpful. We needed a last minute slip due to a nearby boatyard canceling our haul out without any notice. Eau Gallie YB was able to accommodate us(we’re 59’ so that makes it harder for last minute requests). They were also very flexible while we tried to find another yard that could haul us. We will definitely stay here again.
The folks at Eau Gallie are doing it right! It’s a small, private marina (not a corporate) with a Kew West vibe. The staff helped us with our dock lines. They welcomed us and our dogs. They have a beautiful space to relax in colorful Adirondack chairs and a shaded pavilion as well. Bathroom/showers were standard nothing fancy. We only stayed a night and it left a come back again feeling.
Got a message through dockwa from marina for certain slip. Came in very tight Marina. They said I had to go someplace else as I was docking , but I have single screw no bow thruster I had it all set up ,some guy didn't know what the hell he was doing started directing everybody did the same thing to the guy behind me there's like no one there to make decisions. They don't answer VHF don't know if they have one or not. Quiet place. Minimal tide
Great place to stop when cruising the ICW. Super friendly cruisers. Pot luck on Wednesday is awesome.
Very quiet dock, and very nice folks running the marina. Short walk to nice restaurants.
Lovely marina, with super friendly people. Laundry was great, bathrooms clean and super close to restaurants. Very protected too.
Mike was an awesome host....didn't stay too long, but wish we had!
Nice folks! Quiet dock with no current. They also have a place called Karen’s canvas.
We pulled in around 6pm and was greeted by the Eau Gallie Yacht Basin Community. We had been out to sea for 3 days and were in need of some provisions - Mr. Dennis drove us to the local Publix, where we picked up some provisions and some potato and macaroni salad for the Wednesday potluck. What a great bunch of people and what a great facility. We were fed at the potluck, took a shower, was able to do a load of laundry, as well a pump out (equipment was in great shape). The marina was so clean and kept up, We were very pleased with the boats in the marina as well. It's nice to see that there are marinas out there still interested in sailing/boating and have a sense of pride in their stuff as well as where they live. We had been sailing since May and The Eau Gallie Yacht Basin Marina was, by far, the best marina we stayed at. This is the kind of place that we want to make our homeport. Most excellent!! TY very much!! Heidi and Billy Aldy
Stayed for five days to avoid the hurricane winds, which didn't amount to much. Dockmaster met me and told me about the facilities, which are quite nice. Big common room with tv, sofas, games, etc. Very nice restrooms that were spotless. Nice bbq area. Docks and pilings are in good condition.
Very prompt on confirmation and slip location. Washroom/showers very clean.
Nice small marina Great dock. Short 11 minute walk to Frigates bar grill. Facilities close and clean. Mike was quite helpful with accommodations
Had a wonderful stay. Bathroom’s were clean spacious. People at the marina were friendly. Will defiantly stay there again
We always Enjoy docking with Eau Gallie Yacht Basin. Everyone's Friendly from the staff to the People staying There. The dock we reserved was easily accessible.
Absolutely reluctant to tell how much we enjoyed our stay there, if only to make sure that we don’t have to fight to get back in! The marina staff is excellent, and the sense of community from the boaters that are there all of the time, made it a really fun place to stay. Wednesday, potluck, dinners, nightly happy hours at the tiki hut, and just a sense of everyone helping each other makes this place a great marina!
We had a great experience at this “old Florida” style marina with lots of charm and character. Facilities were excellent and WiFi good. Very close walk to town. We recommend the outdoor bar at Frigates (about a 10 mins walk).
Very scenic location in the calm Eau Gallie river manager quite helpful and friendly.
This marina is a small quaint marina with lots of local sailboats. The staff was cordial and accommodating to us. We will stay here again when in the area. We always enjoy this marina. This was our second visit and will definitely be back when in this area.
We always enjoy our stop here. It is a small friendly marina tucked just off the ICW. The owner is wonderful, as is everyone who works here or has a boat here. We will be back, for sure!
Charming, deep water (7’) at face pier. Entrance from ICW was 7’. We will try to stop on return to S. Fl in the Fall. Great pizza nearby.
This is a wonderful marina in a well protected area. We had a fantastic stay and Mike welcomed us with accommodations we had requested. Eau Gallie River provides lots of fun for dingy or kayaks. This is a very friendly marina and town. I wish we weren't so far away as I would come to this marina often. I highly recommend it!
Owner friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. Would stay there again. Thanks Mike!
Our favorite stop going north or south. Great protection, people and room to sail on the ICW! Eau Gallie and the Yacht Basin are a gem. 38' Lagoon 380 S2
Mike is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable-the area has some beautiful historic homes to the right as you leave the marina. The marina is tucked away from the ICW and very quiet. Pump out at dock if needed. There is canvas maker on site. Fabulous barbecue area with an outdoor sink. Docks are being upgraded with new planks. Nice place to dingy around, kayak or paddle board. Enjoyed our stay.
Very nice little marina with a friendly staff. The restrooms and showers are clean and the washer/dryer did the job. We bicycled across the bridge to Publix. Great bike path alongside the highway. There was a nice little pavilion with picnic tables for Docktails and lots of sitting space. It’s not a fancy marina but we would stay here again.
Great spot. Very nice people. Good dining nearby.
Small marina but very comfortable with significant live aboard community. They were very welcoming with a regular pot luck dinner on Wednesday night. I will put this on my preferred stops along the ICW!
Mike, the owner, was very nice. Please well maintained, quiet!, close to places to eat and not far from grocery. Each trip on Uber/Lyft to airport. Beach across the bridge walking or bike. Great find worth a stop for sure
Great stop over with very friendly and professional service. The bathrooms and showers were the best I have seen anywhere!
Nice, low key atmosphere, very protected water, easy approach, other marina guests were super friendly and helpful. Very nice showers and restrooms and easy walk to cute little town of Eau Gallie. Would stay here again and again. Easy to book and communicate with Mike, the owner, through Dockwa.
Beautiful location and nice facility, however, we never saw or heard from a single staff member during our 3 night stay. Initial response was quick and we were assigned a slip number through a Dockwa message. When we arrived, we hailed on the radio, called two phone numbers, but got no response. Our assigned slip was occupied, so we had to take up the only available side tie slips right next to the laundry. Thankfully, there were several patrons (including those who were double booked with us) who all jumped in to help us with the dock lines as it was gusting close to 40 kts when we arrived. All confirmed that they rarely saw any employees on site. We understood it was a Sunday, and some small marinas like this do not always have staff available, but a heads up when we received the slip assignment message would have been appreciated. I sent a message back through Dockwa telling them where we tied up, but never got a response. Since we were getting off the boat for a few days it didn't matter that we didn't get the bathroom or wifi codes. Again, the other patrons were more than willing to help us out, but really....a 3 night stay with absolutely no contact?? I'll give 3 stars because this is a nice, very protected spot, and we are very self sufficient, but can't give more due to lack of any communication with staff or owners.
A great little marina where everyone is extremely friendly.
Very friendly marina. We stopped in for a quick 2 days while Karen from Karen's Canvas worked on getting us a new bimini and hatch cover. We stayed on the perfect nights so we got to join in on the marina potluck. Great little marina close to Melbourne art district & lots of great restaurants/ bars.
The owner, Mike, greeted us with 2 other men to help us tie up. This is a very clean and picturesque Marina with proximity to Publix and restaurant choices. Uber is a quick call to anything you need.(We have folding bikes but used Uber for a large provisioning.) I walked to Planet Fitness one day and ran the causeway bridge sidewalk another day. My husband cycled to Bangs for a great haircut. Laundry, docks, bathrooms and all amenities are well maintained. Especially loved taking the dingy a very calm, short distance to Frigates for a glass of wine and a fantastic dinner watching the sunset. Mike is a text away if you need anything. More personal than large marinas. No fuel, but everything else.
The basin is beautiful, protected on FOUR SIDES, and everyone was super friendly! Love this marina, one of the hidden gems off of the ICW.
This marina is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a quiet, quaint, friendly old Floridian vibe, this is it. The wifi & electric is good. Baths and laundry are old, but my understanding is they will be renovated in the near future. Docks are older but in good shape, and very convenient in slip pump out. Easy, short walk to a very eclectic downtown with humor in Eau Gallie's history boards throughout town. Great stop to add to the cruiser's destination list!
This may be one of the coolest little marinas I have ever been to. The marina is very well protected from all winds. The pilings were in good condition - no issues tying off. Anything they are lacking in amenities compared to some of the newer marinas is made up for in the great little surrounding area which had great little restaurants and shops. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!
We found this gem as we sought shelter from an oncoming storm. Stayed for a week. Mike was great and friendly as was all staff. Local boaters were friendly and proficient in protecting us all together against 60+ winds.\nHoping you won't find this place so we can be assured a slip next time! Blessings to All at Eau Gallie Boat Basin.
Excellent. We liked it so much we elected to stay an extra day.
We came in at the last minute without a reservation for two nights and stayed for five. The atmosphere and charm is that of an old Florida Marina and if we are lucky we will be back. Everyone we encountered from staff to gusts were very friendly and helpful. This Marina has my highest recommendations.
great location, nice docks easy in and out, clean bathrooms.
This marina is quaint, charming, and most certainly well protected. The boating community there is friendly and always willing to help. Our stay was awesome. We highly recommend keeping your boat here or stopping by to experience the area. It’s also interesting to note this marina originated in 1896 so the history is amazing and releases an old time feel. The owner is “hands on” and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The amenities are comfortable and there is a canvas shop on site. We highly recommend this marina to all who plan to visit the Melbourne area. Peter and Stephanie Meilunas
Great, quiet location. Friendly staff and other occupants. Easy access, just follow the markers. Close to restaurants, ACE Hardware, and more. Definitely worth a stop.
Beautiful small town marina with wonderful people. I would take this marina over any other. Had a pot luck dinner the night we were there and had a wonderful time! Thanks!
Great, friendly people. Very welcoming. Would come back anytime.
lovely simple old fashioned quiet marina. No help finding dock or help docking. a real sailors marina with the basic necessities. Electric, water, kitchen, showers, toilets.
We arrived at Eau Gallie Yacht Basin about 1:30 pm on a Thursday and the office was closed. Called two different phone numbers for the marina and no answers. We left messages, but no one returned our phone call. Did not have a slip assignment or restroom codes. Finally tied up on the face of a dock behind a larger cruiser. We needed ice for our cooler, so were told by another transient boater that we might find some in town. Walked downtown but had no luck finding ice. When we got back to the marina, the office attendant said her husband was out in the marina looking for us, but we never received a phone response to the messages we left. The marina does not sell snacks or ice like the Waterway Guide implies. We finally connected with a local resident boater, who ubered my husband to find ice. If you are looking for a marina with simple amenities like ice or snacks and an office attendant, go somewhere else. The only good thing I can say about Eau Gallie Yacht Basin is that some of the resident boaters are very friendly and helpful.
We are very happy, this is a great community of sailors. We have been here for a few weeks we had to leave the boat for some travel. I never worried once about our boat "Anyroad", I knew she would be taken care of. The small Artist community of Eau Gallie is very walkable, lots of restaurants and cut boutiques. There is a Publixs about 2 miles away for provisions.
Well protected marina with a nice view and friendly folks!
Docks were great. Power was perfect. Water is high quality, people friendly, course into the area wide and well marked. Peaceful. A little hike to restaurants but beautiful neighborhood. Would come back in a minute.
It was a nice place but there was no gas for the boat. We had to go to a different Marina each day to fill up. They also did not have a convenience store. The service here was very limited. But I work I try to be nice
Wonderful little diamond in the rough. Great hosts, Dave and Karen!
Quiet, pleasant, easy bicycle ride to several nearby restaurants.
Great facility but not more that water and electric. Very well protected harbor basin and only 5-10 minutes from the airport.
This is a great casual little spot for those not looking to impress. No help to the dock, but it was easy. Great outdoor seating and grilling area, cosy clubhouse and totally good bathroom and shower facilities. Not fancy, but totally good! Publix a 2 mile bike ride and little downtown within five blocks. Look forward to staying here again.
Friendly! All services available.Comfortable but no luxurious.
This place needs some updating. The people are nice, but it is where old sailboats go at the end of their life cycle. A new owner with vision could turn this marina into a real gem.
Good protection from winds. Slip are pretty tight. Would like to get WiFi, bathroom codes, upon arrival or by email instead of having to ask residents
Staff and owner went above and beyond to get three slips for a windy weekend. The marina sits just off the ICW and up a small river to a quiet harbor. It is set close to many beautiful oak tree lined streets and it’s an easy walk to many restaurants and stores. The local harbor host, John, was very helpful as well as the other local slip holders.
Charming little marina with lovely grassy area, fire pit, bbq, covered tables, and string lights. Pet friendly. ( feels like Cabot Cove!) One washer/dryer $1.50 load. Restrooms with showers. Nice boaters lounge. All people very nice. Easy walk to restaurants and some shops. Had groceries delivered. Free pump out at slip.
Nice place and have stayed before but adamantly opposed to dockwa cancelation policy, no one at the marina returned phone calls all afternoon about arrival and no one at the marina to assist slip. Neither marina or dockwa gave information saying this might be the case and provided further information. TOTALLY unacceptable. And I worked in the marine industry or related for over 35 years.
Nice people and town. Just be aware on approach that they cannot always monitor Ch 16 so you may need to phone or get all your details in advance. Restaurants and marine supplies nearby.
Nice marina, friendly people, cute town. Great location to hide from the weather.
I love the charm and friendliness of this marina. There is a nice grassy area and shady pavilion to hang out. Very quiet. Beautiful neighborhood. There aren’t many transient slips and I’m happy they could accommodate us. Next time, we will ask to be on the face dock as the slip we are in is quite narrow. Still, a great stop! Scott and Tris GREEN EYES Nordic Tug
We love Eau Gallie Yacht Basin. Friendly people, good safe harbor- protected from all winds, walk to town, nice lounge/cabana/gas grill to use.
Protected dockage was smooth as glass. The ICW was choppy and 17kts of wind made for a long day. Dockhands assisted in getting us tied up and we're very helpful. The restrooms were clean and decorated. Everything was clean and neat. We walked to Frigate Barr and Grill for an awesome dinner. We will visit again .
A friendly boutique marine . Easy access to town and grocery shopping .
No one monitors VHF channel - had no idea where my slip was and there were no staff on site. No answer on office phone - on vacation. Overall a pleasant little marina, good protection. Seems like a community of snowbirds who enjoy each other’s company. Facilities, bathrooms clean but old.
No frills to drive the cost up, but everything a cruiser might need is either on site or nearby. Marina is clean and friendly.
What a gem of a marina! The owner Mike was hands on with helping us getting in and out and made sure we felt welcomed. We were invited to their Wednesday night pot luck dinner and everyone was so great. Our Golden ... Sadie Belle was so happy for all the hugs and treats she got. We look forward to returning in the Spring.
What a hidden surprise! While the docks are older the dock master was very helpful getting us safely tied up on the old pumpout dock t-head. He even invited us to the marina Thanksgiving Party. Very close to walk into town and explore.
This rating is based on the friendliness of the people there. Everyone was very nice. They have a live aboard community that are very welcoming. There is a “Temple”. Which is a covered structure with sink, ice, cooking supplies and grill where people meet daily to visit. Laundry on site, very quiet area. Will go back.
Very clean and comfortable marina. This is the second time we stopped there. Definitely nothing fancy but a very friendly live-aboard community. We stayed 3 days because we had family in town for a wedding. The view is great from the last slip on the face dock. My only complaint is that the wifi is basically non-existant. But they still get a 5. We will be back.
Beautiful cove with a nice little marina - a club member came on a Sunday to help us tie up. Short walk to Eau Gallie “downtown” with good restaurants. We would go again.
Such a comfortable, friendly Marina! We will definitely be back!
Convenient to the ICW. Rameally friendly boaters and staff. Clean facilities and Eau Gallie has some great eats downtown! Try the Woodfired Pizza, cocktails at Olendar speakeasy and the new Intercoastal brew pub! We will be back.
yes a very quaint and awesome marina; all amenities have kept us comfortable; pet and people friendly make it a pleasure to stay
Nice little marina. Good restaurant within walking distance. People were very friendly
This is a gem of a marina! Cool vibe, nice manager, location to walk to town. Cannot be beat at this price point! We will be back!
Wonderful hidden gem! VERY nice people working there and wonderful residents in the marina. Best way to describe the atmosphere is "campy". They have a Firepit, outdoor kitchen etc.
Great stop. Friendly atmosphere. Adequate support. Great walking community. Reasonably quite. Fun.
Dave was not friendly. Locals have seem to taken over. Can't correct mistakes on dockwa or with Dave on reservation. A date error made on Dockwa could not be corrected. I got charged for 3 days but only allowed to stay for 2. Emails and phone calls were not answered promptly to try to remedy error.
Very friendly place. One of the boaters pitched in to help us tie up. Wednesday is pot luck. Only criticism is you can’t reach anyone by phone or radio to confirm where they want you to go. No staff on site.
Nice small marina, some very friendly people. Every Wednesday they have a potluck! Clean showers and bathrooms .would recommend a walk to local brewery!
Absolutely love the marina. Great location with an Arts District in walking distance along with plenty of marine shops nearby. Facility is clean and constantly being improved upon. There’s a great community of resident liveaboards and seasonal folks. You always feel welcome. It’s location is great for hiding from storms, too. Thanks for the great memories!
Very laid back, nice spot. Not many transient spots, but if you can get one they’re very easy side-ties. No current or tide issues. Helpful folks to help you tie up. Dockwa reservation. No WiFi that we saw. If you stay, make sure to walk over to Oh Biscuit! For breakfast excellent food. Would stay again for sure.
We love this place! Karen, Poppy says thank you for all the pets!
Great spot! Super friendly staff and lots of full time live aboards keeping an eye on things. This would be a great spot to park the boat and run home. Two miles to Publix (Uber) but lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
This is a great location. Short distance to local food and quick access to the river. We had a wonderful stay and everyone at the marina was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!
Great nook and cranny and has been remodeled. Friendly folks and close to boutique shops and eateries within walking distance. Only real downside is it’s not close to real shopping. Wickham Rd or go across the causeway. You’ll need transportation.
Great value. Clean facilities. No issues at all 👍
Nice people and facilities. Air conditioned captains lounge or outdoor gazebo for relaxing. Short walk to restaurants but no close drug store or grocery.
